If I find someone to take down to Darcy, I can get Jordon up to probably anyone under $600k using the cash from Berry this week.

I'd love a top defender, but with Daicos, Houston and Sheezel already there and spaces 'saved' for Ryan and Stewart there's only a D6 slot left.

So maybe I slot Touk Miller into M5 and wait for the DPP to shore up the backline
Miller/Rowell the pick of the ins this week on the proviso that you can’t afford Green and youre not leaking too many points from the terrible def rookie situation I reckon.

Definitely can’t trust Howes/Hore on field and Williams even looking a bit shaky at times as well.

What’s the rest of the side look like?

Thanks for the thoughts.

Yeah D6 is the worry. 3 prems + Massimo and Williams + Hore/Howes/Pink rotating for the last on field slot.

Jordon to Darcy buys me Howes to... Young/Clark/NWM type? Locks in one of those as D6 which is maybe not a bad move.

That said, it's only Round 4 which the D6 score will likely count (best 18 in R5 and R6) and after that we can all put McKercher there.

So maybe the best value premo on offer is the way to go, in which case I lean to Touk.

Mids are Butters, Serong, Rozee, Green; Roberts, Sanders, McKercher, Carroll; Wilson, Reid, Clark on the bench (next round anyway).

Forwards are Jackson, Heeney, Flanders, Jordon then a mess: T Berry, Sexton, Campbell and Dempsey.

I'd happily pay $550k for a top forward if there was someone who looked like a lock for a 100+ average but I'm not seeing it?

Wait and see how Clark fares today but at this point in time I have 3 main concerns.

Coffield, Billings, and Libba. Don’t want to boost so will have to decide which two go.

Coffield obviously needs to go eventually. Draper and Brown are the two replacement options this week. Like Brown more, but it’s tougher when the price factor is considered. Could wait for Worner although not sure of his JS when Chapman returns. Otherwise Sexton, Roberts, and McKercher can all fill that bench spot from round 7.

Billings was a failure of a trade. Should hold price and has a good matchup in my opinion this week against Adelaide. Not a must trade by any stretch. He’s the route to Darcy though if I want him, but I’m not sure how’s he’s going to go after that first price rise. He was the lowest scorer for the Dogs yesterday (bar Poulter who was sub) and Lobb dominated in the VFL with 5 goals, 20 hitouts, and 15 disposals. The week before he got 4 goals, 24 hitouts, and 13 disposals. I think the Dogs should persist with Darcy but I don’t trust Bevo at all.

Libba is now a real concern. Faintly considered moving him on for Butters last week. This week he got subbed out at 3QT and felt a bit “ginger”. This is not a good sign so early into the season for someone above the age of 30. He also only had 47% CBAs (likely would’ve been around 60-65% if he wasn’t subbed). He’s shown in the past that CBAs are vital if he is to score well. Could be a good opportunity to jump on a Steele or Miller while there is still value to be had.

What about $375k for a 95 average?

With your name you need to bring in Miller or Steele surely. I have both if had to pick one probably Miller.

What are people doing with Lyons if named and not the sub? Talking about the people including me who traded him away.
