Yeah I would. Both Dawson and LDU feel a rung or two below the Green’s, Bont’s and Serong’s of the world.

Coffield to Clark.

I don’t think Hore being out will impact Howes. He feels like a 60-70 type of guy with the odd 91 or 26 thrown in from time to time.

So the whole Wines news has made one of my decisions for the week much easier.

Wines to Miller locked in.

Second trade will involve one of Billings or Sexton out depending on selection with Sexton.

The in if it is Sexton has to be Darcy and that is also pending selection.

If I am turfing Billings then the options spread a bit wider and I could ride Thomas’ 100 score for a couple of weeks. SC gold has it as an $84k price rise in 2 weeks with two scores of 51. Did have a pair of 40s before his spike game against West Coast. Also posted a 72 in the pre season. Anyone got a strong opinion on Thomas?

He's not a keeper, only take him if you're willing to risk another Hogan situation. I'm hopeful of a Mackay situation.

Coffield, Reid, and Hore being injured means you likely need to move two of them (probably Hore) and Coffield.

Wouldn't bet on Max King. He will be a good cash gen but I always find it really difficult picking pure key forwards because their role is the most volatile for scoring out of all.

I'd consider moving Jordon to Dempsey. Solid price still despite +$70k last week, another strong BE, great role where he seems to get around the ball and his scoring history so far dictates he should make some good money even if you missed the first price rise. Also gives you a lot of extra cash to play with next week. Or, you could look at using that Dempsey downgrade money to go deeper on someone else in your backline than picking up both Brown and Draper.

The frustration , anger and dissapointment on LDU has subsided. I was going to flip to Tom Green. Looking ahead i see Oliver and Jordan will be a juicy price, Adelaide draw looks real good after Carlton.??????

Remember Green has played Roos and WCE he was always going to start on fire, he doesn’t get to play them again this year. Green yes likely to be top 10 but I bet he comes back to the pack in the next month. Happy to let him go when this time of the year is about value.

LDU owner here too.

I mentioned it earlier in this thread that I was planning on trading him for Green this week but it relied on Hore getting named. So much for that!

So I’m forced to hold. However if anybody is in the position to do the LDU to Green/Serong trade I would actually pull the trigger. I feel as though Green and Serong will be within the top handful of mids this season while at this stage, it feels as though LDU will not. This feels like the last chance to do this move as each player would have moved to far in the differing directions following this coming round.

Just out of curiosity, why did it rely on Hore being named?

Yeh I don't think the Hore injury helps Howes. But I do think May back helps him.
I think he might have gone more defensive without May feeling like he really needed to lock down hard. Wouldn't be surprised to see him back to 70s/80s

next 3 games are richmond gws and bulldogs

richmond and bulldogs have no tall backmen and collingwood's big men did decent against gws

Just out of curiosity, why did it rely on Hore being named?

I needed the cash from trading Howes to Darcy to afford Green. I now need to hold Howes to avoid a donut due to Hore getting injured.

I'm only for a D6/7 trade personally if its to avoid a donut as I've got a sneaky suspicion that in a fortnights time a Clohesy/Graham/Parnell/Worner is alot better rookie than either of the guys on the bubble this week so that's fine in your situation.

Must admit I'm not a fan of a Max King trade in though, for every Harry McKay there's 5 key forwards that really end up being nothing picks and hes got GWS and Western Bulldogs post this game which won't be easy.
