Gawn VC 129x2 :)
Billings 54 :(

Poor finish from Gawn but if you told me he’d score 129 before the bounce I’d take it. Will bank the points. Billings had an almost night. 2 behinds from easy shots 20-30m out. Hit the post from a tough set shot in the pocket 35m out. Got burnt countless times in the first half for cheap chip kicks on the wing when he was wide open with the kicker opting to bomb it down the line instead. Had an opportunity to go large if everything clicked. Those missed goals were costly. Definitely gone next week.

Going to take the VC as risk is too great, as we saw with Bont last round. First VC that I have taken this year. Have had to rely on captains and that can take nerves sometimes... Have had > 125 every round, so 129 maintains this.

Just have to worry about trades now. Have Howes on the bench, but I have to play Draper/Brown as I had Coffield & Reid, so had to make a trade on one player, so may as well hope for a score > 46.

Yeah, SC site (and other sites like DraftStars / RDT) have updated scores, but FF yet to update / go into Full Time mode.

If Gawn went from 126 to 129 as it seems, will take that, need every point can get!

Crouch went from 98 to 97 but I'll live...

Watching live Gawn owned RO’B in the first half, great body positioning and sublime taps to advantage a few times. Also got back in defence a lot all game to pop up and take marks. Riley to his credit came back and clearly tried harder after half time and did a lot better.

Holding Gawn in the contest in the second half curbed his influence. Not sure its legal but it worked a treat, as it did for Grundy

Oliver 102 points under his BE.
Yep there's going to be some seriously tempting options soon:

- Oliver will be about $530k after their bye
- Dawson is going to be about $530k in a few weeks too
- And a little left field one but Steven May might be under $400k after the bye. Take out the 12 from the injury and he's averaging 105.

Completely agree. Gawn was basically unsighted in the second half barring that mark inside 50 and ROB beat him in hitouts 20 to 16. Only had the 4 disposals. Fought back really well. At half time it was looking like one of those monster Gawn games.
