Question 1.. Bring in midfield premium or fix Grundy?

Question 2: To do either I need to use one more trade to make some cash…

Get rid of Massimo or someone like Carrol/Wehr to get those last few dollars?

cheers lads

Sexton won't be picked - trust me.
I was going to trade him out this week but he at least made the EMG unlike Laz. Is he genuinely not close to getting back in?

Also, likely need to take one of clohesy and Graham this week, any risk that either of them is the sun?

Went through so many options i have decided to hold off as originally planned.
Wait and see what the GCS cheapies do and if they make a 3rd game.

Grundy Lazarro and Jordon for Meek Martin and Clohesy. Jye Clark survives for one more week. Howes as well.

Number of players can go back in round 6 post DPP, feels you can have one value defender.

Do I bring in Darcy or go a week early on Comben? Anyone watch Combens game? Impressive stats. Did he play well or was he gifted?

Do we think hore gets his job back in a couple weeks or should I get rid of him now. (Luxury sideways trade for clohesy as opposed to waiting a week and grabbing clohesy as downgrade)
Felt like he is The sub or outside 23 if everyone is fit based on team selections this year. Moved him on already and kept Pink and Reid.

Anyone think Matt Crouch is worth a look or is that Crows team just a disaster waiting to happen?
Feel the time was RD1. Dawson, LDU, etc could be available sub $550k and feel others have a more favourable best case scenario in terms of avg for remainder of the season than Crouch. Handballs too much and too many sideways/backwards/little kicks (have not watched this season so unsure whether he has changed) and doesn’t contribute enough in the other areas to boast a high enough ceiling to warrant the investment.
Brought Crouch in already and starting to regret it. Watched him early and thought he looked amazing on the inside.

Yet his TOG and Cba have been weaker and when game was on the line, it was Dawson who got back on and they preferred Soligo to stay on over Crouch. Some pod casts are very negative on him and only 83m gained last week, handball backwards.

Adelaide issues look to be forwards yet they are losing and maybe crouch suffers. Not sure I share the view, would tighten the mids to laird dawnson soligo and crouch but not my strength to analyse these things.

I started Crouch with the express purpose of flicking him at his bye, it looks like he's reverted to his old ways as opposed to what he did late last year ie: forward handballing and using his legs to power out of stoppages. He intimated as much in an interview this week where he said he needs to get the ball going forward more and I'm hoping that it eventuates, otherwise he's going to be dropped.

Sexton won't play again - that was his last chance in a new role but Mac Andrew has taken that spot with Flanders doing the run off H/B thing. That sealed his fate. Personally Will Graham is my pick (and also a huge favorite of Dimma's) BUT most will go with Clohesy based on that first game. Me I'm waiting for this round to settle and based on performance probably grab both.

Gotta hold both Carroll and Wehr. Carroll as a 1 BE and Wehr a negative one, both still with $ to make and the possibility of a spike score.

The parts of the game I saw, Comben looked really good. Flying for marks with confidence and just seemed to have mojo. I'm going to wait a week though as he did play on Daniher who kicked 5 so they might ask him to taper those instincts a little and mind his man.. but if he puts up another game where he is taking intercept marks and has the licence to fly.. then I think he's a great selection.

LDU, what to do 🤷🏼‍♂️

His stats are very similar to last year. Can not understand the drop off in scoring.

Full disclosure I don't own him, but I would hold LDU. Something isn't right at the moment but if things turn, he has shown the ability to score at keeper level. He has already lost so much cash too so no point locking in the loss.. he probably doesn't drop much further so if he is still an issue at his bye maybe pull the trigger but at this point of the season I would focus on upgrading around him and not sideways trading, otherwise you fall a premium behind the competition and it's hard to get ahead of that.

Salem (finally lost patience) to T Brown and Jordan to either Horne Francis or Coniglio.

Should have brought Brown in last week but spooked by his upcoming bye and went Draper instead as he was also cheaper. Still feeling the pain from that decision. Cloheshy for Pink next week.

Thoughts? Any suggestions much appreciated! Don't have the cash to upgrade Salem to a premium defender.
Timed Salem just right ✅

Thanks very much, really enjoy your GC-specific insights (and the non-GC ones too!). I'm leaning towards Graham early, like the flexibility he offers for my team but still got to give it some thought
