511 if I decide to take Sharma’s 58 as VC which is right on the cusp. Team on the whole scoring OK this round so far even if not as well as many others in our league. Makes me inclined to take a punt on another C, but I’ll see how I feel closer to game time.

So I've moved Abhishek to bowl line, now ask me why I do these things, I faded Bumrah and brought in Gopal for 35 who is on the pine. Does he play next game? who knows.

I've now traded my other bowl donut to Stoin. Moved to captain Pooran and get 2 Stoin scores vs Gopal 35 and if he plays next game.
So I'm hoping Pooran can maybe match the vc score, but have a better DGR player in Stoin. thoughts?

I got confused reading it , but I would probably Bank Kishan's VC score and just hope Gopal gets a second game.

Sounds like Burger missed because of a injury , no idea what it is/was or how severe.

Gee I just can’t take a trick at the moment. Had Samson until 20 minutes before lockout as the toss was delayed and I didn’t know how much rain was around and how long it would be delayed by. So I decided to reduce my exposure to RAJ. Had to trade 2 of Rashid, Maxwell and Russell and kept Russell.

Trades were:
Rashid > Chahal
Maxwell > SKY
WK loop > Kishan

3 RAJ
3 MUM
3 LUC
Russell + Narine

0/467 6SI or 0/525 Rohit 7SI
Bumrah 145, Kishan 118, Rohit VC 58 (x2?).

Taking Rohit’s VC at this stage but it’s pretty tight. Pooran is the alternative.

Would be taking that I think. Lucknow have an interesting draw with Delhi (favourable) into Kolkata away (less so) but it's always tricky with a middle order player because some days, especially against lesser teams, they won't even get a bat. Like I copped with Shepherd last night!

Rohit plays CSK next and that's ostensibly a tough draw but I don't rate their powerplay bowling at all, which was a big reason I was considering him in the first place.

Thinking along the same lines too. Pooran has been in good form but at the end of the day he’s still a middle order bat that doesn’t bowl. Don’t have a lot of trust in him. My captain scored 10 in the last 2 rounds and my highest for the year is a 60 so it feels silly to take it on.

I see your issue (in part) as :

Sharma S (DNP) & Maxwell 0 have now locked out - so pointless using a Bat donut as C

Vinod (DNP) has locked out

can you hold off on Stoinis and wait and see if Burger plays their next game , do you /would you get his score from then Bench

if not then you still have CSK or KKR as a playing option

Bring in another SRH to add to Abhishek and use 1 of them as captain

Thanks Herbie, unfortunately not, Lucknow play tonight, so Burger is irrelevant as is onfield atm, so selecting a Lucknow player is to ensure I get a DGR onfield, whereas Gopal is on the bench and won't know if he plays until the last game.

Put Ravindra on the bowl line then. By then you'll have all your information, you can make Abhishek captain and if Burger doesn't play you'll get Gopal and Ravindra anyway - or if he does you'll get one of them. But even in that case you'd still be getting two scores (one from Burger and one from Ravindra) and you still get Kishan's captain score.

Thanks Mike, if I move Ravindra to bowl line, Abhishek to bats as captain my bat bench scored 0, so I miss out on a score. Hence, why I've moved Abhishek to bowl line. Just don't want to take Gopals 35 atm

If you swap him with Axar you don't lose a score. Then throw Ravindra on the bench and captain Abhishek on the bowl line.

As Burger was onfield as a DNP do I get the bench score? I was taking it as an onfield donut, apologies I'm a bit slow. 🤔 If that's the case I'll get both bench scores if Burger is still injured and take the captain score from Abhishek via Kishan vc.
