At least Bont is in 50% of teams prior to this round so his 77 doesnā€™t hurt as much as the 12% ownership ( prior to this round) for English owners with his 58ā€¦
Carnage for some of the $650k plus players this weekā€¦
opens up the potential to fast track full upgrades once these players bottom out in price in a few weeksā€¦.

Bont, Martin, Darcy, Sanders tonight. Happy enough with new recruit Martin given he didn't exactly rack it up. Darcy is going to be a beast and is really impacting English now. Sanders was great early and then got Bevoed; would be a reliable on field option for some time if it wasn't for that damn vest.

I'm a little bewildered and confused.
Am I the only one that thought that Jamarra's reviewed goal was a point, and given a goal.
Or have I had a couple too many ?
I actually rewound it. The goal ump says "I think it's a goal but need to check if it hit the post."
No, it didn't hit the post. It went behind the stick.
What sort of review system do we have. An absolute joke.
They say they review every goal as it goes back to the centre. I give up. :)
Itā€™s an AFL v Essendon thing! ;)

Itā€™s even sweeter when the AFL lose!

Itā€™s nights like this that I donā€™t care about the abysmal performance of my SC team. :devilish:

Gawn VC 138x2 :D

Big game for Gawn. Couldā€™ve been a mammoth one had his midfielders come to play. Some of his taps were poor but I thought the mids were terrible by their usual standards, particularly in that first quarter.

Libba, Sanders, and Darcy tomorrow. Close eye on Martin. Fully expecting the rest of my team to keep up the pace and average 138 ;)
4/505 or likely 3/459
Libba 101
Darcy 82 :D
Sanders 46

Libba underwhelming but not too bad given the circumstances. Havenā€™t seen any vision of the ā€œcollapseā€ they were going on about at the end there. Hopefully just BT being BT and making everything dramatic. I must admit he looked groggy though and he has a concussion history. Darcy great again. Happy I ended up going through with that trade in otherwise Iā€™d be in a world of hurt. Sanders started like a house on fire then faded badly before Bevo struck again. Shouldnā€™t count in the best 18ā€¦ right?

The best part of the night though was the non-owns. English and Bont combined for 131 and will be prime upgrade targets in a few weeks. Martin didnā€™t hurt me and is still on the radar as he managed to ton despite being very quiet.

Played: M Gawn (C)

Yet to play:
Friday: M Bontempelli, R Sanders, N Martin (new recruit) and S Darcy
Saturday: T Green, J Steele, A Cadman, D Wilson, Z Williams, T Miller, S Clohesy (new recruit), M Dā€™Ambrosio, Z Butters, H Young and N Fyfe
Sunday: T Stewart, H Sheezel, O Dempsey, C McKercher and H Reid

New recruit and 5th premium defender in N Martin to debut tonight. Great start from Gawn this season and the first time I have used him for VC and C duties. Happy with the decision to hold Howes but likely to field Clohesy instead in the hope he can push 75+.

Solid debut from Martin and another good game from Darcy. Bontempelli balanced out by English and disappointing to see Sanders subbed after the start but hopefully not required in my 18 (only 21 available) and he could be traded for a Dawson/LDU type in the coming rounds.
