Might take awhile to sort through once I work out how to get Walsh in for Round 7 and most likely Petracca in for Round 9.

Might move English on.

Wait for more information re King's injury.

Will have to bring Graham in.

See how Comben goes tomorrow.

Andrew following up with a 92.

Still keen on bringing May in for Round 7 (will need to check projections for D'Ambrosio , McKercher , Roberts , Sanders , Sharp , Williams - 2 of them most likely go for Walsh and Petracca)

Will we even have other downgrade targets appearing to trade out Cadman , Campbell and H Reid ? , all eyes on the 3 Kangaroo cheapies tomorrow.

Plenty of time to change but having a pretty good idea on a Saturday night (well, technically Sunday morning) is a nice change after a painful week of indecision.

Carroll > Graham
Sexton > Comben
Dawson > Walsh

Holding Libba, it's best 18 anyway, and there could not be a higher-priority trade out than Jordan Dawson. For my mental health and for all things that are good.

S May should not be in your trade plans. Very difficult to see him in the top tier of defenders, when he’s up against Daicos, Sheezel, Ryan, Sinclair, Martin, Stewart, Sicily, etc.

You’ll just end up bleeding points later in the season.

Clohesy has to come in, got Graham this week. Comes down to who has the higher BE out of McKercher, Clark and Campbell as to who goes out. Could be left in a sticky situation where they all get their cash gen going again and have to resort to trading out Z Reid instead. Comben is also on the radar and if he looks good again then God knows what I'll do.

Jackson has also become a consideration, do I trade him out now with the Shrek back? He's going to bleed a lot of cash which I'm happy to wear if he's a top 6 keeper, just not sure if he will be from here on.

Think Jackson definitely will be a top 6 keeper… whilst the shadow of Shrek does look large….still think he scores 95-100 from here minimum…
Also depends whom your plan to bring in for him? For me would only trade him to a gun midfielder, as there are no other top line fwd presenting atm…

I agree. He won't be a machine but should have enough spike games to be a forward keeper. He also provides cover for the rucks. With West Coast and Freo traditionally having so many late games it's good for looping. The second Ruck lives at R3 with Livingstone at R2 so you can dodge the disaster if it happens. It's also not enough cash to get excited about.

Lost of rules getting broken this year

Does not taking a premium (Walsh) without a preseason also get broken?

Updates on Crouch/Butters - both going for the ball yet Butters keeps his hands down for the ball, Crouch doesn't. Crouch probably 1-2 weeks, Butters given Banfield kept playing, more incidental being hip, could escape a suspension or a classic go to tribunal and get off.

edit - take butters back, saw another vision where it shows he has hands down but goes straight past the ball, probably 1 week.

I suppose he's feeling the pinch having to carry the full ruck load for 5 games, might be a 60/40 split for a few games whilst Shrek gets back to full fitness which could see him being more impactful, if he doesn't perform then it's probably an easy flick to one of the bottomed out premiums available in rounds 8-9

This is why I reluctantly went 3 trades this week with ins of Martin, Comben and Clohesy-so far so good, but with Graham and Ramsden also looming I thought biting the bullet this week was the way to go to leave room for them, as it stands I’ll pass on Ramsden but god knows what other surprise awaits this round.

Yeah, my difficulty is coming from who to trade out, Massimo was going to be one but his 94 has kickstarted him again.

Totally agree.

Even if the likes of , Clohesy , D'Ambrosio , Williams (all that I own that need to be eventually upgraded) get to the $ 350-375k mark still going to be looking at trying to find $ 200k ish each to get them to a Sicily , Sinclair , Stewart , fingers crossed Clohesy is a D keeper.

Not sure where I am finding that sort of cash.

Been tracking the 3 S's each round though through the projections on Footywire.

Already realise Ryan won't be in my team this season.

Starting and trading out Martin is looking worse and worse (in hindsight)

I doubt I will have enough cash after :-

Campbell - > Graham
Cadman - > Player X
Reid , H - Player Y

to even be able to get both Walsh & Petracca.

So then it's a waiting game until Brown , Clark 😲 , Graham , Wilson + the unknown Player X & Y generate enough cash for further upgrades.

Hence why I have been looking at May , to see whether he offers some value as a trade in.

Also been tracking D Cameron & Witts as ruck options along with the usual suspects in the mids like Dawson , LDU , Oliver & Parish may get to cheap to totally ignored

Again ideally I would love to be able to bring in guys like Dunkley & Gulden along with Walsh & Petracca and end up with that "perfect" team.

Without the funds though it ain't going to happen.

Just go through everything at the end of the round like usual and go through averages , BE , price projections etc etc and see what options are available for my team and circumstances.

Need some more info on injuries to King and Meek as well.
