Genuinely thinking of using a boost to trade out Libba atm. Ordinarily would never but getting a guaranteed 40 for his miss atm and really need to make up spots this week.

At least some of the time, "late changes" are basically decided on Thursday or even earlier. I can't link something to back up that claim, its something that happens though.

The out of Williams over Dempsey trade not worth it to take McKercher.

Could have kept Williams a bit longer and Dempsey is a must trade

At least some of the time, "late changes" are basically decided on Thursday or even earlier. I can't link something to back up that claim, its something that happens though.

The problem is, if Libba is unwell on Thursday so they leave him out, and he recovers and can play, they can’t just put him in. So they name him knowing they can take him out if he still isn’t well enough come game time.

Turning into a lacklustre SC round this one… Steele, Butters, Trac, Harley Reid managed (just covered), mass, Stewart had to cover, Walsh (lacklustre), Powell 49 on field, Fisher Sub… late trade to Garcia to avoid a donut..

In other news won on a horse, great weather for golf today and Liverpool plays at 9:30! 😂

Reversed my Dempsey trade out for Darcy. Was pretty happy at qrt time. Not so much now haha. Cannot believe how often you could see him on the other side of the ground to the ball. Happy now that I traded Libba last week with him missing again. Prob not related to his knock, but I was a little worried.

That happens but also teams know a player named won't be playing in the game and will tell another player "you are playing" in the middle/late part of the week as a replacement. I have a relative who is going out with a player's sister and she found out on the Thursday her brother was "in" despite not being named (a Melbourne based club). I have a few other examples of this I've heard about. Sucks for fantasy football but clubs are cagey about this type of stuff (and injuries) as they are in the business of winning.
