Waiting patiently for the moment of truth regarding Rozee's hammy...
May not get much more than this until later in the week but sounds like it will be 1-2 weeks and very rarely is it just the one week.

"Meanwhile, imaging has confirmed a low-grade hamstring strain for captain Connor Rozee. Rozee felt tightness in his hamstring following a kick, and will be assessed throughout the week to determine his availability for the Showdown."

Thanks mate, must have missed that quote.
I agree that it will most likely be 2 weeks at least, and that's being very positive.

Good update, thank you. Possibly a silly question, but is that 4 more for Soldo (plus 1 already missed)?
Good question.

Had his op today , so I am guessing they mean 4 more , dependent on recovery obviously.

Nothing about Soldo from the Josh Carr article on their website.

Finlayson expected to return straight into the seniors.

Burton was held back from the SANFL game so he probably comes in.

Maybe a update tomorrow.

Thank you - I would normally expect it to be referring to how many additional games a player would miss, but perhaps not.

Three price rises may be sufficient, but obviously an extra game would help.

Incidentally he makes c. 200k in three more games if he scores c. 85s.

Footywire have him getting to $ 356,500.00 after 3 more games.

Still would need a fair amount of cash to get him from their to a R2 , although they have Marshall dropping to $ 482k , so maybe he is the option , depending on his fitness.

Quite happy for him (Sweet) to be R3 then use the cash he makes (touchwood) to them be able to upgrade Clohesy/Graham/Roberts.

I guess everyone's circumstances is different whether they have him @ R2 or R3.

Exactly - I think Marshall is probably the target, albeit we would want to be confident he is fit before bringing him in. Presumably that will be clear by then, unless he looks really labored trying to not miss a game.

Yes Soldo was Ports first choice ruckman but believe it was close. Can see them not rushing Soldo back and may even be Sweets spot to lose if he continues to ruck well.

Soldo injury helps with knowing Sweets minimum games but he could easily become Ports first choice too. Maybe a Port supporter would know more?

From memory it was close in how their performances were rated amongst external watchers but every indication in preseason planning, etc, from the Power was that Soldo was the man. Held out of the first game, came in and played first ruck for most/all of the second game, etc.

Rozee was running at training today and competing light drills.

Fitness test tomorrow at the main training session.

Soldo expected to miss 4.

That's handy news, thanks.

Soldo missing 4 would mean he'd be ok for round 12, I would think that it's a big chance that they hold off until after their bye in round 13
