Adelaide vs. Port Adelaide teams
Adelaide will finally debut its top draft pick Dan Curtin in the Showdown after the talent dominated the SANFL with 31 disposals.

Luke Pedlar is likely to miss the rest of the season with a shoulder injury, paving the way for either Sam Berry or Lachlan Murphy to return.

Elliott Himmelberg should retain his position up forward despite Chris Burgess (four goals) impressing in the SANFL.

Port Adelaide captain Connor Rozee has passed a fitness test in a huge boost, but the Power will lose two guns.

Aliir Aliir will miss at least a week in concussion protocols, while Sam Powell-Pepper has done his ACL.

Ryan Burton and Tom Clurey will be in the selection frame for Aliir's position, while Jed McEntee could replace Powell-Pepper.

Carlton vs. Collingwood teams
Adam Cerra (hamstring) will return to Carlton's midfield against Collingwood - if he passes a fitness test.

Orazio Fantasia (illness) and David Cuningham (calf) could also be fit, but aren't locked inclusions.

However, Mitch McGovern (hamstring) and Jack Martin (hamstring) are at least a week away from returning.

Jaxon Binns, Matthew Owies and Jack Carroll were the most ineffective players in the loss to Geelong.

Jordan De Goey (groin) is likely to miss in a huge blow for Collingwood, who hope Tom Mitchell (foot) passes a fitness test.

Several Pies could face the axe after quiet ANZAC performances, including Steele Sidebottom (seven disposals), Will Hoskin-Elliott (three disposals) and even Jack Crisp (11 disposals).

Finlay Macrae (31 disposals), Lachlan Sullivan (21 disposals) and Ash Johnson (2 goals, 20 disposals) played strongly in the VFL.

Sydney vs. GWS teams
The Swans will welcome back Luke Parker (broken arm) from injury after he gathered 34 disposals in the VFL.

It will be tough for John Longmire to find an omission for Parker, with sub Braeden Campbell appearing the most likely to be chopped.

A huge boost for the Giants with Toby Greene (suspension), Sam Taylor (concussion) and Stephen Coniglio (knee) to return for the derby.

Adam Kingsley is also facing a tough selection night and several unlucky players could be cut including Leek Aleer and James Peatling.

St Kilda vs. North Melbourne teams
After three losses in a row, surely changes are in the offing at St Kilda.

The Saints will be hoping Max King (knee) returns after missing the last two matches.

Jack Higgins will be out of the next three games through suspension, with Lance Collard likely to play his second AFL game.

Paddy Dow (22 disposals) could be in line for his Saints debut after impressing in the VFL, while Jack Hayes and Zak Jones are also banging down the door.

If there are a few ins, the likes of Cooper Sharman, Mattaes Phillipou and Hugo Garcia could find themselves in the VFL.

North Melbourne selection is a lottery at the moment with nothing really working for the team this season.

Forward/ruck Finnbar Maley could make his debut after some solid VFL performances.

A lot of players will be nervous at selection, including Will Phillips and Dylan Stephens.

Melbourne vs. Geelong teams
Melbourne are still having issues with tall forward Harrison Petty looking out of sorts.

If the Demons decide to send Petty back to the VFL for form, both Tom Fullarton and Josh Schache are worthy of opportunities as tall options in attack.

Patrick Dangerfield will be a big loss for Geelong, who should bring sub Tom Atkins straight into the starting 22 as a replacement.

With Max Gawn looming, it will be interesting to see if the Cats decide to persist with Rhys Stanley, who has struggled recently.

Toby Conway could come in but it will a tough gig against arguably the best ruck in the game.

Gary Rohan is edging closer to a senior return after kicking four goals in the VFL.

West Coast vs. Essendon teams
West Coast will get two key players back in Harley Reid (managed) and Tom Barrass (suspension).

Campbell Chesser has really struggled to make the most of his time in the seniors this season, while Luke Edwards or Josh Rotham will come out for Barrass.

Elijah Tsatas gathered 39 disposals for Essendon's VFL team as he stated his case for senior selection.

Dylan Shiel (21 disposals) continues to put together a solid block of VFL form. while Matt Guelfi returned from injury in the seconds.

Alwyn Davey Jnr and Nick Hind would be the most likely to make way if Brad Scott decides on changes.

Richmond vs. Fremantle teams
The Tigers will get back both Noah Balta and Jayden Short from injury lay-o*** in a boost.

Tyler Sonsie (32 disposals) continues to perform strongly in the VFL, but can't translate it in the AFL yet.

Seth Campbell, Ben Miller and Rhyan Mansell will see their senior positions come under threat.

Fremantle will make significant additions to their forward line with Jye Amiss (concussion) and Sam Switkowski (concussion) likely to return.

Josh Draper (hamstring) should be out a couple of weeks, with Ethan Hughes the obvious replacement,

Western Bulldogs vs. Hawthorn teams
There will be plenty of changes at the Bulldogs with Cody Weightman (elbow) and Rhylee West (suspension) definite outs.

However, Jamarra Ugle-Hagan (personal) and Tom Liberatore (illness) will come straight into the team.

Ryley Sanders was also among the best in a Footscray practice match after being dropped by Luke Beveridge.

Calsher Dear (two goals, four behinds) is getting closer a debut for Hawthorn after impressing in the VFL with his scoreboard impact.

With both Mitch Lewis (knee) and Mabior Chol (suspension) out, Dear could get an opportunity as a tall forward alongside Max Ramsden.

Chad Wingard is playing in the VFL but is likely to continue building fitness at that level for the immediate future.

Brisbane vs. Gold Coast teams
Brisbane are struggling to find players pushing through the VFL while their senior team is performing poorly.

With Callum Ah Chee (hamstring) needing to be replaced, Jarryd Lyons is a chance to yo-yo his way back into the senior team once again, while Jaxon Prior is likely to get an opportunity soon.

Oscar McInerney will return from concussion protocols in a straight swap for Darcy Fort.

Gold Coast aren't likely to make too many changes but Sam Day struggled on his return to the seniors.

Ben Long has been kicking goals at VFL level and must be close to a return as a forward.

Thoughts on these trades would be appreciated…
With Steele high break even upgrading to Rowell or a zerrett type… whilst getting in Reid whom I don’t own ( with potential to be a fwd keeper) and street in to grow cash and re assess at the byes…
Also have Jackson in fwds to swing if in case of emergency lol
