Played: I Rankine and Z Butters
Yet to play:
Friday: S Walsh (VC) and N Daicos
Saturday: I Heeney, M Roberts, B Grundy, T Green, J Steele, C Comben, H Sheezel, M Gawn (C), T Stewart, H Reid and N Martin
Sunday: N Fyfe, H Young, M Bontempelli, S Darcy, W Graham, S Clohesy and T Miller

Great start from the Butters and Rankine combo. Will likely keep Grundy due to the 74 from Sweet and reassess next round given I feel Wilson/Graham could match that. To push Graham to M8 I need to go a week early on Hardeman, otherwise Wilson will come onfield and Rogers will replace Hardeman and sit on the mid this round. Unsure how long I can keep testing it with going early on Clohesy, Graham and the Garcia’s recently. Recently switched the VC from Sheezel to Walsh and have considered forgetting about Gawn as C due to the Geelong matchup given they have previously restricted rucks to some success but unlikely to have the stomach to go through with it. Pretending that I haven’t heard any of the Steele concerns, so will hold. Will be interesting if hindsight says it was the right choice or not.

Rarely pay attention to projected scores but a projection of 2521 is looking very nice to me. Now watch them fail to clear 2250. :ROFLMAO:

Houston 93 :(
Rankine 93

First game under 100 for Houston this season. Didn't like seeing him, Farrell, Williams, and Burton all named in the same team and as expected it restricted his scoring. Solid score for Rankine. Didn't like the role again though today. Heard Montagna say in the post game he had just the 5 centre bounces. Don't like his chances of finishing top 6 anymore, hopefully can squeeze into that top 8-10 range. Needs an injury to one or more of Dawson, Laird, Crouch or Soligo. Can't see Soligo moving out of bulk midfield minutes anytime soon.

Walsh and Daicos tomorrow night.

Sweet faced the 3rd hardest ruckman in ROB to score against - 74 is decent v him. Also had 5 clangers and 61% DE, which didn’t help.

Faces the 6th and 7th easiest rucks across his next two weeks so expect higher scores next 2 weeks.

I'm convinced after watching the explanation video of how Champion Data works and how many people are involved, that it's not biased and some kind of conspiracy, there are too many follow up people for that, double /triple checkers. If the main guy calling the plays was seen to be incompetent or showed bad judgement, I'm sure he'd be replaced quick smart.
I don't have the link to that video but someone does here, probably Connoisseur.
Would love to see that video if you have a link @Connoisseur

Anyone know who will be sub for Hawks this round? I hope it's not D'Ambrosio as I really don't want to trade him unless I absolutely have to

Wouldnt think so….
Watson, Ward or Mitchell would be my guess as Ramsden will play forward with Dear as talls…

North Melb.
Expecting Sweet to average 85 or thereabouts, so 74 is within parameters. Was watching him closely and he wasn't the worst Port player out there. Will make a fair bit of cash this week.
Other new recruit Laird couldn't hit a target in the first half, but had a huge third to pull out a semi respectable score. Had me worried at half time.

Top 4 Mids are really starting to break away somewhat now, Rowell, Serong, Green and Merrett proving to be must haves, I was so close to throwing everything at getting Laird in lastnight, spent all week on it, then decided with a BE of 99 1 game isn’t going to kill my chances of getting him, he’ll go alright don’t get me wrong but for me it now ensures I prioritise the 4 mentioned first.

Big gamble to take most of them on with everyone starting at 0. A plethora of other mids could match the young breakouts to finish.

Butters is still ahead of Green at the moment.

One of those games where you hope your POD goes ok, sadly not to be be with Drew scoring a paltry 59, was hoping to get him to round 12 but that might not be the case. Thinking, like a few others, of rolling the dice on Sweet's 74 and fielding Wilson who has a pretty good matchup, probably a 15 point swing either way and not sure of the risk. Crouch bounced back this week so I sort of combine his score with Drew's each week to get a 100 average, below par with 91.5.

3/257 if I take Sweet.
