Thought my season was turning the last couple of weeks. Was happy that this week was the right week to bring Green in, was happy to hold Fyfe a bit longer after his spike game, was happy to trade Steele based on the information that was available and based on his previous history with injuries - was just happy in general.

But it's a game and means very little when you compare it to today we having to put our family dog down who's been with us for over 12 years - that's sad.

Only a dog/pet owner will understand the sadness that goes through a family with a passing of a true friend. Happened to both my two Bull Terriers (also cancer) named SOS and Kruzer but fair time ago now.

Add to that Green in 87% of top 1% teams and Fyfe 63% (72% of which have him on field). Gonna see some movements this week!

Great game that one. Had Ryan, Serong and Jackson.

Have made a decision to take one of Clohesy and Graham off field to get D’Ambrosio on to score. Have a feeling he is going to do alright today.

English, Bont, Darcy, Macrae and D’Ambrosio in this game to keep the ball rolling hopefully.

Great return by Stewart after a week off and look on track for a solid 2200 in a tough round. Considered Parish and Oliver (along with D Moore) when I was very close on trading Roberts due to the expected poor weather and thus poor disposal and kicking efficiency (was high eighties and low nineties for the season prior to the match) so a bit disappointing to see them both come out and score 140+. Could grab both next round to “finish” my midfield but is at the expense of Jones and downgrading Rogers to Simpson.

Excellent from Young but Stewart over Ryan in RD4 continues to sting. Benched Fyfe in favour of R Garcia, so hopefully he repays the faith of going a round early with a 65+.
