Seems like you have everything sorted Connoisseur and to answer your preference question, I'd probably prefer to move on Lane first with his bench role now over Strange who has the number 6 role locked in. Ideally you'd trade in a replacement that plays both round 13 & 14.
Strange by a country mile. More upside then the 20-30 you will get from Lane off the bench.
Thank you both. Revisited the team squads and realised Lane is starting on the bench.

Not many options this week. I think if you have Tedesco you have to back him in even in the wet. For those non-teddy owners like myself (Edwards/Drinkwater at FB), I’m leaning a Captaincy at Manu. Facing the left side defence of the Cowboys attack who are losing Dearden/Holmes/Taulagi to Origin.
Clifford / Chester / Burns.

Could potentially go Young, but with the wet, he’s not really known for having the best ball control skills.

VC is more tricky. No Isaako / Kiraz so really looking at an Armstrong or Dylan Brown. Probably Dylan’s Brown is the answer.
Didn't realise about the wet. Don't have manu/teddy but was tempted on a Dom (C). What do you say for a captaincy shout for drinky? Worth it over dom/isaako?

Not really considering Drinkwater vs the Roosters whose backline outside Suaalii is reasonably untouched. They’re pretty good defensively as well maybe top 3-5) Drinkwater is a solid play but not a captain option. He should goal kick with Holmes out though.

If I had the chance to VC Drinkwater (more touches, goal kicking), I would due to his upside, but there’s not that opportunity for obvious reasons.

Honestly think the Cowboys get spanked even in the wet.

Considering doing smithies > jdb. 25 trades left.. thoughts?

Covers round 14+19 , frf dual, better upgrade
Back to the drawing board for now.

Jdb only allows me 3.5k in the bank.. not enough for a proposed Angus > dfif trade ( which could be the main target for round 14)

The only way is to downgrade hynes/val.. maybe talagi.

Next few weeks what's the best combo?

1. Hynes+ Kolo
2. Hughes + Jdb
3. Hynes + Jdb (downgrade talagi > Whyte this week through jcarty dual)

Hughes / and 1 of Kolo / JDB looks. Your team looks set for rd 13? Maybe consider Planning for 16/19 with Kolo over JDB and trading Hynes > Hughes this week. There are some short turnarounds coming for Hynes in 14/17 to the point I’d be surprised if he plays coming off the calf.

That should solve your cash flow issues for next week.

Thanks.

I'm set for 13 already. including smithies.

The hynes > hughes trade does tempt me for round 13. Should I run for any other trades for this one ?

Next week.. can think of getting rid of two/ one of either Angus, smithies, talagi next week, pending injuries.

Only thing I can think of is you move Crichton to Fifita this week and Talagi to A FB this week via moving Iro up.

Given you have 25 trades left, this is a good week for you to prep for the other byes and you’re going to want a 3rd 2RF next week as you’ll only have KPP or Katoa playing.

Crichton only plays max 1 of next 4 whereas Fifita plays 16/19 if he stays out of QLD squad. Also plays the Rabbitohs next week who are severely undersized in the middle right now. Might as well do the move now to allow more flexibility next week.

I’ll only have 16 trades left after this week and I’m 110% going to make the move to get Fifita next week.

Thanks. I'd prefer the hughes move by itself and I'll reaccess angus> fifi for next week.

Although I'd like to hear your opinion. What do you think is a more important and better trade at the moment ( not for this week but in the coming ones)

1. Talagi > trell
2. Smithies > Jdb/Kolo

#1 Talagi will make cash this week, but will be an imminent sell next week if he maintains his bench role.

Changed minds again. Didn’t realise Hynes was only likely to play 2/3 of next 8 games and has short turnarounds 14/17.

Thinking Hynes > Walker, Lomax > Manu and Chan > Plath instead of Whyte.

Allows a path next week to bring in a 2RF for Munster by moving Plath into 5/8. Would have to do 1 downgrade of approximately 170-175k to get Fifita.
Final trades

Crichton > Plath
Munster > Walker via Brown
Lomax > Manu

- Gets me back up to 13 playing after Edwards, Lomax and Robson all get named for Origin.
- Leaves me the option of trading Hynes directly to Fifita next week through 1 trade. Not expecting him to play, but in case he misses Origin but is somehow fit for round 14.
- Leaves me 1 trade and 250k ITB to deal with Talagi if he tanks this week and his BE skyrockets before he leaks cash next round. Will likely target a premium CTW playing 16/19 or Kolo.

50/50 on Tedesco. Already have heaps of Roosters, and are very borderline for 17 in Rd 18. But can I afford not to have him this week? Current fullbacks are Drinkwater and Walsh. It would be Walsh I traded.

To be honest... Teddy is bound for a big score even in the wet.... Cowboys got 6 Guys out and are terrible defending... Any of the Roosters backs could ton up and I would hate to miss out.... I get him in and C him.... hope my VC won't score a 100 but no Kikau Burton or Crichton gives Armstrong a good chance to ton up too

In the same situation as you with Drinky & Walsh. Convinced myself that Walsh might be rested after Origin with his knee knock, has a tougher draw than Teddy and his 2 backup games last year after origin weren’t high scores by him. Enough for me to make the trade.

I'm still deciding whether to buy teddy or not. Have Dedwards and Walsh currently, and can't decide who to sell...leaning to Walsh.
But I am a H2H player so selling another gun FB with only 25 trades left is making the decision hard as I still have to make 2 more this weekend. Grrr

Gosh Mate.... 25 Trades is Great and if Teddy goes Big you will be cursing all week next Week... holding Edwards is a great choice.... he got 4 day turn arounds every game after SoO so I can see him backing up at least 2 of the 3 subject to Panthers Ranking in the Ladder.... also you could do a trade call on your H2H match up... I don't bother with match ups in H2H as I am in 14 Leagues :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Who we thinking for captain this week?
VC= R Mulitalo
C= D Young

May as well give Ronnie the VC after purchasing at his peak and holding this long. No Tedesco or Manu as of yet but can reverse my Wilison to DeBelin trade if I wish to grab Manu over Marzhew and Manu would then become C. Drinkwater seems my only other captaincy options since I am holding Walsh and may consider Walsh to Tedesco after the Roosters bye.
