Can do the following to be left with 4 trades
Out: Hynes, Pahulu and Iro
In: Camobell, Ola and Tago

Unfortunately fall shy of Pryce and unable to grab Eels 2RF rookie due to no dual swing.
Have Aitken to deal with next round and likely Sharpe as well. Trading both would leave me with two trades but I have assembled enough cover in every position in which it should not really matter.

Should I reconsider the Ola and Campbell inclusions and keep Iro? Aitken can be traded to a 6th CTW premium or another CTW loophole although it leaves the cover a bit bare.

Geez that’s a tough situation. Having 2 trades left next week with 7 rounds to go would be a nightmare. Maybe try keeping Iro & Pahulu and only trade out Hynes since he’s injured long term and in a key HLF position?

Decided to park Olakau’atu inclusion for a round as Plath is locked out, thus Campbell replaces Hynes (one trade used and six left). 2RF looks weak (Fifita, Nikora, Katoa, KPP, Ford and Plath) and was looking to take advantage of the last time of three trades per round available given I ideally would like to trade Aitken, Sharpe and Pahulu.

Apart from next round, the remaining byes should be no worries bar maybe West Tigers as Brailey is my cover at HOK. This goes for injuries as well as all positions bar HOK should be fine to cover one. No Broncos or Cowboys and Holmes/Haas/Carrigan/Walsh/Drinkwater would be the only ones under consideration although would prefer a player that has finished their byes. Ford the only Warrior and has dual position status. The two roosters (Tedesco and Young) can be covered on their bye along with Garrick and Marzhew in their respective byes. Brailey and KPP outside of my best 17 at full strength and shouldn’t be an issue.

At 52-6, I don't think refereeing has played a big role in this result.
I mean it was 12-6 when Api was sent to the bin... I still think the tigers probably get flogged but that wasn't my point. I was talking generally across the season. Almost all 50/50s go against them. Not only does it go against they seem to cop the harshest possible penalty every time.

I feel a bit sorry for them, such an inexperienced they need a lot to go there way to be completive but they just get reamed match after match.

Played: M Plath, K Iro, R Mulitalo and B Nikora (Aitken and Api hopefully do not feature in the 13)
Yet to play: D Fifita (VC), J Campbell (debut), D Brown, J Pahulu, J DeBelin, R Garrick (C), G Marzhew, J Brailey, F Sharpe and K Pearce-Paul

Unexpected low scores thanks to injuries to Api and Aitken puts pressure on my other fringe players to post serviceable scores to squeeze into the 17. Fantastic score from Mulitalo considering I purchase at his peak price this season early on. Nikora an excellent get a few rounds ago and Iro solid as always. Didn’t consider Johnston again this round but great to see a large score for those that did select him last round.

Just realised Brailey is starting on the bench which means my 13th player will be the highest scorer of Aitken, Api, Pahulu and Brailey. Can trade Brailey and Pahulu to Olakau’atu and Humphreys for the below but would again leave two trades remaining as Sharpe and Aitken to Watson/Grant (via Campbell and Humphreys) and cheap CTW rookie (likely loophole) to facilitate it. Unless Humphreys or CTW rookie plays it puts far too much pressure on fielding the bare 17.

Will keep Brailey and Pahulu and take the points and rankings hit unless my other players compensate for the absences.

Was tempted right on lockout to go ahead with the above but held. 27 is the pass mark needed for Brailey, Sharpe, Pearce-Paul, Marzhew and Captain Garrick to be included in the 13. Hopefully can push around the 950+ range. Campbell an excellent trade in.
