Saw a video of Daniel Sams playing against Dan Hughes (in sublime form) and he looked like he was phoning it in big time. Will be a massive watch for me in the preseason to see if he has recovered from his injury or if the wear and tear of the international circuit is starting to affect him adversely.

very interested to see his price (and if he is Bat/WK) and how he goes , could open or Bat 3 , surely after his IPL exploits Fraser-Berserk opens (with Brown)

Sparked my interest when I saw it , even more if they don't pick up a overseas spinner in the Draft.

Based on his average last season (23.50 from 4 games) he should be around the $ 72k mark.

Load up on Renegades & Stars to start.

Might have to many starting options for the bowl line to start though if all of Abbott , Jhye , RK19 etc are priced correctly.

Think if I was in charge of the Stars recruiting I would be targetting a WK (who can open) and a spinner in the Draft.

Wonder if they try and get Clarke back or take a punt on Gous.

Cartwright , Maxwell , Rogers , Stoinis , Webster should be solid enough + 3 from Boland (probably in the Test Squad) /Coulter-Nile (injury prone, not yet signed) / Paris / Steketee (possibly play McKenzie as the second spinner at home)

Curran + 2 OS

Find out soon enough

As per normal it will be intriguing to see what strategy the Scorchers use at the Draft.

Agar , Behrendorff , Hardie , Inglis , Richardson , Tye (not yet signed) , Turner seem 7 local locks if available.

Find a spot for both Connolly & Morris.

Hobson & Kelly stiff to miss out altogether.

Looks like they have 13 local sports signed already including Marsh.

First list of nominations has been revealed

Evans , Ferguson , Hales , Shamar Joseph , Shadab Khan , J Overton , Rauf , Roy , Mujeeb , Vince

Interesting though on the App it shows their availability eg Mujeeb 4-6 games

Haris & Shadab have nominated 6-9 games + Finals (doubt the NOC will be that clear (if granted) by the PCB , especially given their schedule)

Overton & Shamar Joseph has nominated Full Availability + Finals (WI have series v Bangladesh and Pakistan scheduled).

Joseph thus far has played a total of 6 T20 matches , included in the Windies Squad for the upcoming series v South Africa

The other 5 players have nominated 6-9 games
