About 70 Pakistani players have nominated for the Draft , given their International schedule and changes in how they are issuing NOC's I doubt to many will even be drafted.

100%, i can't imagine it would be too many.
Personally i forgot it was on until i just saw a random article on fox sports and I'm one of the bigger cricket nuts around, watching all but a handful of games each season, no lifes SC etc etc. and i don't even have much interest in this thanks to each team already signing an Int player, and the "pass" having ruined/soured the past two drafts. Like who is the draft for if not me?

Exactly. It’s a niche audience even within the confines of the sport’s supporter base.
It would be great for the sport if CA could raise interest in these sorts of things.
Cricket has some natural disadvantages relative to sports such as AFL (including an irregular schedule, and little context to many matches), but I still think CA could learn a lot from how groups like the AFL approach things.
