That's all true, and why we'll all sell him... And wouldn't it be just peak fantasy for football for him to then make us look silly and bag a hat trick :LOL:

I do think that if everyone is comfortable trading Isak, its not that much of a stretch to trade someone scoring like TAA. Im not saying that is the a main reason behind my decisions but i do try to weigh up both the pros and cons and come to a conclusion myself. Admittedly, my soccer knowledge is still not the best but im trying to have a bit more autonomy this season as opposed to last season (My first season, where i knew not much north of nothing).

I am having doubts about Welbeck, i know he will go up significantly by just getting out on the pitch but i think he will have trouble getting a return against Arsenal...but then has Ipswich. I do think this is the most sensible way to get Palmer this round though.

So, after saying all that i probably will do the trades you mentioned. I dont feel great about trading Isak to Welbeck but it is probably the % play to get Palmer in straight away and not weaken the rest of the team. I also think i'll feel terrible if Welbeck scores or assists and Isak blanks.

Ive rambled a lot now but i think it has been a good exercise to have a think about heaps of different options....and then end up coming full circle.

I guess at the end of the day these things are true

1. Welbeck is going up in price massively no matter what. He is great value for money for this round and even if he does terribly, there is time to reassess in the next few rounds and 'cash out'
2. Cucurella is no guarantee to get minutes with Chelsea's list and his scoring has been poor anyway. Good prospect to sell
3. Chelsea have a great run coming up and Palmer may well increase in price after this round and could even go up substantially in the following round. Best to get him in now.
4. Isak has been poor, backing him in for another week is thus risky particularly because its the best time to get on a cash cow.
5. Rogers is not guaranteed to score well this round or in the coming rounds and if he does, he may be attainable sooner rather than later anyway

Welbeck will get 3, Isak 15 this week. But then Welbeck will be at home to IPS & NFO, and Isak away for two weeks, although to WOL & FUL.
You'll make those pts back next week, and a motsa in cash. You'll pee your pants laughing all the way to the bank.

Hopefully you got Isak and Rogers in FPL (like me), so there will still be joy if they do well.

Someone with a good score in GW2 is the best option, so that good score is in two price cycles.
Partey looks best value. Low ceiling, but will make you some cash.
Maybe Diallo next. Tough game this week, but could score well with misc pts if kept busy.
I assume you have Minteh, as you don't want a BRI double up?
You already have ESR?
Szmodics puntier pick, but the most attacking. New club, unknown quantity ATM, but good scoring in the small amount of time he's seen so far.

Hard to resist Welbeck with the breakeven. Can jump off once the 21 and/or 15 exit the price cycle for a Rogers type. Tielemans to replace Kamada with Fatawu and Diallo under consideration but feel Villa have the better fixtures. Allows $9.1 million for a defender with plenty of options. Can go for an Arsenal defender but prefer to wait until RD6. A Robinson could be okay from Fulham with Ipswich this round but then has Newcastle in R5 and City in R7. Romero could be similar to Welbeck in which I jump off when the 27 exits his price cycle but Newcastle and Arsenal could be a tough next two rounds. Same goes for Kilman with his 22 but Man City this round. Faes, Williams, Martinez and Mazraoui also options with ok fixtures either this round or following. Hall and Livramento may be problems as well for cash gen if they cannot get consistent games so need to keep that in mind as well for the upcoming rounds.

Maddison the only avenue to the Palmer party if I want to jump on board.

Hammers xGC is 3.4. They've conceded only 2. City might correct that imbalance.
But a Havertz goal and CS, would see him match a Haaland brace.
It's a coin toss, but when Haaland has scored 7 hat-tricks in his brief stint in the EPL, the fear is real.
