Im considering KDB instead of Palmer. In comes KDB, Rogers & Partey for isak, murphy & Tonali

I can still get Palmer next round but it will require trading a Liverpool asset (Salah or TAA). I am thinking maybe Salah down to Madueke for a cash grab.

Im definitely exploring all avenues this round. I like the KDB move but i must say it makes getting Palmer a bit harder as id need to trade a mid who wouldnt have maxxed out & likely need to boost again.

It comes down to how much do i want Rogers, and the answer is that i really want him.

I wouldn't be trading TAA or Salah for anything other than an injury or away to international for a month or so.

Depends on how Madueke goes this round. If he dominates again that will force my hand and it will be between Haaland and Salah to downgrade. I dont feel great about it, but it is how i get up to Palmer. Lots of options, not sure which to take

Madueke wasn't a starter in GW1. Another stinker, and could be benched the following week.
Other than Palmer, everyone else is on a carousel, given CHE have 400 players.

You need to curb the FOMO, and let Rogers go for another week, not Palmer.
Get Welbeck, bank the $2m+ price increase, then get Rogers. Not the other way around.

As Courtezans said, TAA and Salah aren't to be traded. Both have such a high ceiling and are top premiums in their position.

Welbeck for Isak, Palmer for Murphy, and Milenkovic for the Cuckoo Fella are your moves this week.

Thanks again for the feedback. I think you are right about letting Rogers go. Im tempted to keep Isak particularly for that Wolves game. I understand that i probably shouldn't trade Salah or TAA but i think if i need a cash injection, i am not opposed to trading TAA...probably not Salah come to think of it. With defenders i am chasing big scores/low BEs and favourable runs with regards to fixtures so i do think TAA is tradeable.

I do think that if everyone is comfortable trading Isak, its not that much of a stretch to trade someone scoring like TAA. Personally, it will depend entirely on what i can do with the cash as well as the quality of the player coming in. Liverpool have a good run til about round 7 so Salah will definitely stay til then* (and im sure for the rest of the season barring injury*) and TAA will likely remain in my team too.

In general, Im prepared to be bold, (maybe stupid) so im willing to go against the grain abit. Im not saying that is the a main reason behind my decisions but i do try to weigh up both the pros and cons and come to a conclusion myself. Admittedly, my soccer knowledge is still not the best but im trying to have a bit more autonomy this season as opposed to last season (My first season, where i knew not much north of nothing).

I am having doubts about Welbeck, i know he will go up significantly by just getting out on the pitch but i think he will have trouble getting a return against Arsenal...but then has Ipswich. I do think this is the most sensible way to get Palmer this round though.

So, after saying all that i probably will do the trades you mentioned. I dont feel great about trading Isak to Welbeck but it is probably the % play to get Palmer in straight away and not weaken the rest of the team. I also think i'll feel terrible if Welbeck scores or assists and Isak blanks.

Ive rambled a lot now but i think it has been a good exercise to have a think about heaps of different options....and then end up coming full circle.

I guess at the end of the day these things are true

1. Welbeck is going up in price massively no matter what. He is great value for money for this round and even if he does terribly, there is time to reassess in the next few rounds and 'cash out'
2. Cucurella is no guarantee to get minutes with Chelsea's list and his scoring has been poor anyway. Good prospect to sell
3. Chelsea have a great run coming up and Palmer may well increase in price after this round and could even go up substantially in the following round. Best to get him in now.
4. Isak has been poor, backing him in for another week is thus risky particularly because its the best time to get on a cash cow.
5. Rogers is not guaranteed to score well this round or in the coming rounds and if he does, he may be attainable sooner rather than later anyway

So with that, my team is

Trying to find a replacement for Nkunku but can only get to about 8mil. Not really liking my options as I don't want to double up with Brighton players this week.
That’s why I haven’t traded him out this week, I also didn’t like anyone around 8 mil mark, he will probably go after the internationals

This is just the right game for him to recover, though. Great record at home to Spurs.
Absolutely could happen but if im serious about getting Palmer, i dont see many other viable options. I'm still happy to have him in Fantasy as i think if he turns it around this week and then has the Wolves after the break, he could get on a roll. Problem is, if he doesnt fire this round, suddenly he loses value and some of the value options close the price gap significantly and then he really needs to get returns or suddenly you fall behind the pack. If there was some other way i could get Palmer in and if there were some cash cows as good as Welbeck in other positions, i would probably keep him.

Tottenham Hotspur will be without their new signing Dominic Solanke (26) and forward Richarlison (27) for Sunday's Premier League game at Newcastle United, manager Ange Postecoglou said on Friday.
Solanke joined Spurs from Bournemouth on August 10th for an undisclosed fee, reported by British media to be around 65 million pounds ($85.40 million).

He picked up an ankle injury in their season-opening draw at promoted Leicester City and missed last week's 4-0 win over Everton.

Postecoglou said the striker was close to making his return but would not be rushed back against Newcastle. Richarlison is also out after suffering a muscle injury.

"Dom Solanke is close but I think we'll err on the side of caution with the international break," Postecoglou told reporters. "Richy pulled up sore. I think there's a muscle injury there and we're getting more information but he is out."
