Suffice to say, at least I still have a 26pt gap from my closest chaser, $5.12m ITB, 1 boost and 16 trades left.
You're miles ahead. They're not catching you. Your team is better.

CHE start an awesome run, and Enzo is someone who has to be considered. Palmer is nailed. Bowen for me is also nailed, given consistency with avg and starts. No European games has him nailed every week. Havertz has 3 nice games coming up. Two against weak sides at home, where he usually makes his mega pts. Bruno has a tough run, but is on PKs, so you can never count him out. Maddison's time on pitch is a concern, but after all that, he's still the 3rd best avg MID. So no Enzo for me.
Right decision IMO.

Wouldn't change any of your midfield.

Even Maddison's upside makes him worth keeping.

Saka (C)
Davis to TAA locked in
9mil in bank and Foden on the bench. Considering upgrading but no one screaming to be picked - apart from Enzo but not sure I trust as per vsberlinas summary above!

Looks good. I dropped down to 20th after a 122. Saka captain hurt a lot and i didnt want to use a trade so i copped a donut for Gabriel given TAA & Konate were on my bench (& Salah forward)

I've only got 13 trades left so i think ill sit on this for a while. About 4M in the bank is handy. Dont really have PODs that could help make up the margin between myself and the top 10 but i'll hopefully stay close enough until late in the season where i might go down the POD route and assuming i stay in touch that could make or break my chances.

Don't need to be fancy. No.3 got fancy. Dumped Salah for Pedro and captained him.
Dumped Bruno for KDB. Now he's 10th, and you're only 41 pts behind, with 23 weeks to go.
Just stick with the peloton until GW30, then start considering moves.

:ROFLMAO:

Who's they? You and The Doc are right up my backside, in a good old S11 trifecta.
The difference is a Palmer captaincy over Saka. Not much in it at all.

Anyone as far back as 1900 pts, is still in with a chance, given there's 23 weeks to go.

I'm trying to think who dragged me into this game. Maybe The Doc asked, and Spurs Crew, Ryan or MI talked me into it.
Back then, I had no idea what was going on. I think the bench used to score half pts too, so looping had an opportunity cost.

Picked Saka the last two weeks, hurt my ranking.
This. Saka is too unpredictable lately. Only 2/6 good scores.

Salah had an unwanted Bye and should be the fresher player... just a thought:unsure::unsure::unsure:
This. He also will have the extra day over Saka from the UCL games.
Fresh Mo is usually unstoppable.
Double figures in 7/7 of the last games.
The last 4 have had 18 as the worst score.

Salah ahead of Saka is a non issue for me.

FUL might have one of the best away DEF, but they've not really played any decent teams.

Pool have played the big sides and scored 2 in each game.
Forest was an anomaly, and I think they learnt from that.

The wait is over!

When 2024/25 Fantasy Premier League launched in the summer, we announced that a Mystery Chip would be revealed during the season. Now the moment is here.

The Mystery Chip is… the Assistant Manager chip!

As well as picking 15 players in your squad, you’ll soon be able to pick one of the Premier League’s 20 managers to help you earn points.

The chip will become playable from Gameweek 24 in January, and when you activate it you’ll be able to choose an Assistant Manager for THREE successive Gameweeks.

Your Assistant Manager will get you six points for each win, three for a draw, two for a clean sheet and one point for every goal.

So will you be backing Arne Slot to deliver a hat-trick of victories with Liverpool? A 2-0 win would be worth 10 points in total, and you could potentially have three of those in a row!

Picking Slot might be a good approach – but there’s more!

If you pick a manager who faces a club ranked at least five places higher in the Premier League table at the start of the Gameweek, there’s the possibility of even greater rewards – an EXTRA 10 points for a win, so 16 in total, or an additional five points for a draw, so eight in total.

So is it better to pick a manager whose club are at the top of the table, or one who’s lower down and primed for some big results? You decide!

How does the chip work? Which managers have been getting the most Fantasy points so far this season? Who has the best run of fixtures across three Gameweeks after the chip becomes playable?

We've got the answers to all of these questions, and everything you need to help you plan ahead.
