OK, final reminders, as I'm planning to do the draw for this tonight:

@Pesci001 - please join the group, code 100693. This will take us to 55.
If nobody else joins, we can add @Woosie 's dad and get to 56, however there's a few competition regulars who aren't in this year that I'll give a quick tag:
@Gumwah @Herbie66 @Ironhawk @Melmo @Professor @Ratzondix

I'll still accept entries over the weekend and just slot them in if there's space, but I'd like for people to know who their partners are and start collaborating over the weekend at least.

I wasn't really planning on entering BBL SC this year. If you do need an extra person to make up numbers, let me know and I can put something together fairly quickly, but have done zero research or planning.

As usual, showing my working...

Plus the defending champions @Dravid and @Beg2Differ makes our 56.

The random draw is as follows:

As with last year, that empty spot in pool D is reserved for the defending champion team.

This gives us the following teams and pools!

POOL A
@Diabolical / @T43597
@Corz / @Hawk41
@Rowsus / @Chumpion
@tso / @Tails
@Tex / @Damion23
@THCLT / @toxic
@Johno69 / @Kiewa

POOL B
@Pubnation / @NDD
@Vicwood / @Beast_Mode
@Foxy's Fe-Lions / @blue dreamer
@Ratzondix / @drisbel
@avantgarde / @Old Big 'Ead
@Sideshow Bob / @Creeker
@Trickee / @jel

POOL C
@Connoisseur / @BarkingGhecko
@Zillzy / @Ben's Beasts
@Deeman1 / @WoodyTea
@Pacifico / @Tamuhawk
@Bomber18 / @Post Nut Clarity
@Kennedy / @KLo30
@Amazing Bombers / @Professor

POOL D
@Dravid / @Beg2Differ
@FlatTrackBully / @Presto
@nateful / @Aston
@Woosie / @All is Wells
@Miller is a Steele / @mike89
@7/11 / @Darkie
@Goodie's Guns / @Spots

In rounds 1-7, each pair will play a round robin against the other six teams in their pool, with one bye round. Each pool will have a league table, sorted by wins and then points scored rather than percentage, which seems the fairer way to split a tiebreak (and one we've used in the past).

After round 7, all teams will be re-sorted into pools of four, along with the other teams that finished in the same position in their pool. Each of these pools will play a semi final and final for position. The winner of the group of #1 seeds will be the champion, but every other team will have position to play for.

I only have two rules:
1. Don't ghost ship! This comp generally works as a really good incentive to prevent ghost shipping, because you don't want to let your teammate down.
2. Have fun!

EDIT: I stuffed up a bit and didn't realise that Kallo was not the SCS name of Kallo CC. Sorry @drisbel ! This obviously means that there are several people in the "wrong" spot in the draw but there's not a lot of sense changing it now.

Copied this over from last year because there's not really any reason to change the draw:

Obviously this year there is no team 8 in each pool, but it kinda looks like a B if you tilt your head and squint your eyes, so that will be when each team has the bye. As an example, Miller is a Steele and I are team 5 in pool D, so our first game is against team 3 (nateful / Aston), while team 4 (Woosie / All is Wells) get a free hit in round 1.

This means that the entire draw for round 1 looks like this!

Just around the corner now - good luck everyone!
