We’d be hoping Bazley plays over Scott, think the latter is a better chance of burgling overs off Overton if he plays. Saw a little bit of him earlier in the season for shield and he was handy.

I've just reevaluated the strikers squad - Surely one of Bazely or Scott play - Otherwise there is only 8 overs of pace picked to play!

If he doesn't play both i'd be amazed. on the rare chance the extra 4 overs was too much for doggetts body, then the gades will be in melbourne for the first few days of boxing day test anyway, so fergie o'neill will be around to run drinks if the worst happens. .

You probably take both, if it's not disrupting future plans/structure too much.

Yes, both it is.

Sutherland to Seifert who goes to Wk1 as captain while Doran comes to the bat line for Connolly.

Bazley to Buckingham and on field for Richo.

Doesn't really affect structure going forward and would have needed to replace Clarke on the Wk line anyway.

I like him. his in the mix for one of my last spots tossing up to either gamble on Khan double (plays game 2) or just straight to Allen instead.

Knock on him is his out of form but looking at him he seems to be playing with lots of world class spinners in the one team so can see why he was limited.

But you could argue his about to be in side with lots of spin again (pope, Boyce, shortx2)

Might be a watch first week jump on next.
