A disappointing 1189 in the end.

Big ticks to Seifort, Stoin, Rogers and my SGR's - Dorff, Overton, Jhye, Connolly

Big misses were Khan, Zampa and not having Sutho and O'Neill. Curran an average C choice in the end but couldn't not take the VC after game 1!

Webster, Zampa and Khan the likely three to be traded.

BBL SuperCoach really knows how to keep you guessing doesn’t it!? :ROFLMAO:

Going into tonight I was kicking myself for not starting Richo & thought captaining O’Neill was going to kill me for the round (and season for that matter)!

Then all of a sudden Seifert, Sutherland, Rogers & O’Neill dominate and bring my total to 1348 for the round

***As a BBL SuperCoach novice, do I hold the likes of Seifert, Sutherland, Rogers & O’Neill and capitalise on their price rises or trade them to Scorchers/Strikers players to capitalise on their upcoming DGR!? (Zampa is the only other renegade I have)**

8/1075 Curran 16SI

Peirson 97
Stoinis 96 (133)
McKenzie 31 (42)
Curran C 4x2 (104x2)

Peirson excellent. Played his role perfectly anchoring the innings. Stoinis bowling 4 was not on the bingo card, could be a great role if they continue to run with so many batters and/or Webster gets a call up for the Aussies. McKenzie I thought bowled well again. Economy rate blown out by bowling him when the game was basically over (again). Not a great score over 2 games. Curran very poor as captain, luckily he managed the big score game 1.

Zampa (8+game to come) excluded at the moment with Rogers (39+game to come) and McKenzie (42) potentially dropping out if Zampa performs.

Came in with only the 6 DGR players with, in my opinion, the worst 2 teams in the comp on the double. The 6 SGR players have combined for 554 at 92.3/SI! Couldn’t have asked for any better than that!
1271 Ranked 831st (open within ~30 minutes )

Sutherland 118 (217)
Rogers 78 (117)
Zampa 28 (36) - cut off as 12th best player

Sutherland and Rogers great. Zampa just unlucky with how the game panned out.

A few things could’ve gone better, but those were out of my control. Sutherland would’ve been C if Curran failed first up, never taking on 100 + a game though. Never really considered Seifert, high priced overseas batter who hasn’t ever played in the BBL. Also was high on Peirson at WK (and he did amazingly himself) and didn’t want a playing WK in the BAT line. Executed exactly how I wanted to with 6 DGR players. Wasn’t expecting to be this high with such a low count.

The bummer about these high scoring Gades is now my trade plans have got to change. Great problem to have!

Huge, well done!!

I’d say you want to hold those guys by default, especially as they have another double in round 4.

My advice would be to figure out who your preferred ins are (Strikers, Scorchers and anyone with standout roles and/or breakevens would be my suggestion), and focus on that first.

Then see who you have to trade to get them.

After you’ve done that you can assess if you’d rather compromise your ins to improve your outs (ie retain players you want to hang onto).

Rogers, Seifert and Sutherland still to come with 35 more points needed by Zampa to knock McKenzie out of my scoring 11. Finally joined the Harper party this season after missing out last season. Would have much preferred the sequencing of his scores to be around the other way so that I could bank after his first game but hopefully Seifert can put a large enough gap in to warrant the extra investment. Curran very disappointing in his second match as captain but thankfully started with a ton. Renshaw parked on the bench for the RD3 double with Bartlett a close watch between now and then.

Excellent start to the season.

Now for the tough deicison of whether to take on Short again or not.

Currently:
Out: B Webster, H McKenzie, T Rogers and F Allen
In: J Behrendorff, C Connolly, J Bazley and H Thornton

Unsure on trades this round and am definitely feeling the burden of having so much money tied up in Short. Overton is a lock, and outside of him I'm keen on Behrendorff and Allen (Scorchers), but all the players I'd be happy to trade out aren't worth much. Think I might need to downgrade Philippe to a donut just to afford some value players.
