Got a lot right and overall pretty happy. Curran VC vs Sutherland C I can’t complain as 100 after 1 game you bank every day of the week.
Probably my only blemish was getting so caught up in various R2 and R3 plans that I left Allen on field instead of fielding Edwards. Only cost about 80 points but gotta be sharper than that.

Game 1: 2/472; JRicho, Curran (V taken), Connolly (E taken), Stoinis, Webster, McKenzie.
Game 2: 1/298; Chief, Seifert, Edwards, Rogers, Zampa (excluded), Shaw (🍩)
Game 3: 1/99; Overton, Thornton (bench), Allen (bench)
Game 4: 4/182; Stoinis, Webster, McKenzie, Curran (C), Pierson (bench), Renshaw (bench)
Game 5: 3/288; Chief, Seifert, Rogers, Zampa (excluded)
Great start. Will only lose out to those with a similar team who gave Chief the armband. Locking in Curran for 100 for C after game 1 ended up costing but still the right call I think. In reality I would have locked in a lot less. I doubt I would have put the C on Chief even if Curran failed given the doubts about him bowling.

Changing Brown & Rogers to Abbott & Edwards cost me 51 points and mucked my structure up
Don't even want to think of Seifert instead of Philippe , nah no use going there
Seifert & Sutherland make Round 4 interesting , could both be close to $ 200k each to trade in
Didn't consider Connolly as the E look first game
Can't dwell , lot of heavy lifting to be done , on to Round 2 we go

Crazy, has to be top weekly prize or top 10 at worst, the highest possible score you could get if you captained Suthers and then also fielded the 2nd to 11th highest scoring players is 1617..... and that would mean having green, ellis and konstas, people would have konstas but surely no one who takes it seriously would have green or ellis

Moved Alsop with the (E) to Peirson on team sheets and it took the (E) off the traded player... It shouldn't work like that.
67 more points would have been handy in a low DG player count.
Doubles: Curran(VC), McKenzie, Stoinis(E) and O'Niell
Singles: Short, Edwards, Kerr, Connolly(E), Bartlett, Behrendorff and Richardson

Both Milne and Zampa shared the lowest score for me. Some work to do, but was 4500 after Rd 1 last season and then was 60 with one round to go, so long way to go.
Well done to all those with great scores!
Reasonable recovery given the error of not putting the E on Seifert. Cost me 80 points with Peirson filling the gap.
Amazing how lucky are those who didn't have Curran as their VC, especially if you had Sutherland.

Basically fiddled around with my teams too much on the 2nd day and made a few wrong 50/50 calls.
Seifert over Philippe tick +152
Abbott over O'Neill cross -64
Edwards over Sutherland cross -142
Should have just gone harder on DGRs and not worry about future rounds. The Sutherland to Edwards was done just after gades named their teams, so that one definitely stings the most.
Basically fiddled around with my teams too much on the 2nd day and made a few wrong 50/50 calls.

Rapt with the start. MVP was Harper with his first game failure meaning i shuffled things around to stick Seifert as my WKP. If Curran had his poor score in the first game i likely would have gone Sutherland captain but easy to say in hindsight. Seifert is my likely route to M.Short which would also mean Haper on field so a few decisions to make. O'neill likely safe for another round with tonights performance.
