Overall not bad but I would trade McSweeney instead 0f Stoinis, and then try and improve on K Richo with the extra funds., even if it’s just to a JFM type.

Curran, Banton, Dorf to Short, Short and Harvey.

Seifert (VC), (Doran)

Connolly, D Short, Stoinis, brown, Bazley (Renshaw, Harvey)

M Short, Overton, Dwarsh, Thornton K Richo, (Zampa Buckingham)

Edwards
Are you running Harvey & Zampa as Emergencies ? Both with DGR

Keep an eye out on whether Edwards is playing , you might need to swing him to Bat line and bench him if he isn't playing

Only a one point difference between the Tye and Dwarshuis and Johnson and Behrendorff combo. If I had entertained my usual Bat, AR and Bowl mix from each double side at the expense of Hosein then I may have been able to fully capitalise on no Short last round and no Maxwell and Bartlett this round. Also missed out on my usual Philippe selection for the Sixers batting exposure with too much confidence in Edwards to be the avenue into their batters. Best I not look into the points difference of Philippe and Johnson (C) over Kerr, Hosein and Walter (C) but very unlikely I would have given much consideration to that alternative anyway.

Solid score considering I kept all my Renegades and the Walter captaincy selection along with missed games from Curran and Edwards (VC)

Boosts all gone and trades likely to be:
Out: Hosein, Walter/Edwards and Curran
In: Short, Rogers and ?/loop

Ideally loop Bazley with Kerr via loophole.
Updated Walter/Edwards to Stoinis. Can trade Renshaw instead but involves going O’Neil over Rogers and would prefer Rogers.

Can update Edwards to Stoinis depending on further news. Ideally avoid playing Bazley this round as I have no confidence as to what he will dish up and prefer to field a Kerr/Tye/etc on a single.

Having a bit of fun with the VC tonight in the hope of catching up some points. Monsieur Bethell getting the honours. Pitch looks a little dry so think he will get the opportunity with the ball at some point.

Otherwise, I have 10 doubles for the round. Fingers crossed it’s a sight better round than the last.

I’m thinking Edwards is a fairly clear trade out.

For starters he may not play this round.

Also, Patterson played really well against the Heat so is a decent chance of holding his spot when Edwards returns meaning Edwards could slide as low as 6.

Furthermore, the bowling brigade of Dwarshius, Kerr, Bird (Abbott), Hosein and now Murphy is bowling well at the moment which could mean limited or no overs for Edwards even when he does return.

My biggest problem with the Thunder and Canes doubles coming up, is there aren't too many locks I'm chasing.

There's no one with the plumb allrounder role and the like of Sams are hit and miss at best. Leaves bowlers and while Ferguson is probably the one we'll all have, maybe Agar is the other one if he holds his death role. Ellis for the Canes is probably the bowler, but there's not a lot else there.

The bats are hit and miss for both teams, which makes it hard to get anyone with any reliability. McDermott probably the guy from the Canes, but batting 4 isn't ideal. Sangha at three with some overs would be interesting, but has injury worries.
The other things is if Konstas is allowed to play on the 8th , most likely affects a Gilkes or J Sangha

Wow, what a stinker of a round 4. Predicted 1150, finished on 651.
Everything that could of gone wrong, did go wrong. Edwards VC, into Bartlett C.
Apologies to doubles partner @Sideshow Bob. Finally worked up the courage to look at that thread and noticed you got us over the line. :)
Ins for this round - M Short, Seifert, and Sutherland. (Surely I can't be cursed again.)
Thrilled to see some regular SCS members at the pointy end of the rankings. Awesome effort guys, keep it rolling.
Best of luck to all.

Rolling with Sutherland for VC. You've all been warned. :)

I've moved Edwards on and kept Tall Paul

Excellent logic, and well expressed.
It was how I was thinking, but you expressed it much better than the thoughts in my head!
Thanks, Ben. (y)

Sitting on a Edwards/Walter last trade out equation, but do have leaning to holding Walter.
