6/337. 6 playing including captain tonight. Haven't dropped out Green's 32 assuming atleast one of the 6 guys i've got tonight score lower. Was having a fairly good week until M.Short came along. It's demoralising having a pod score 328 from a couple of coaches right on your tail but the risk has paid off. Guessing i'll be 150-200 points behind these coaches once lockout lifts based on one players score. Will be hard to claw back in 2 weeks.

8/787 (Warner), or 7/774 if Owen's score drops out. It has been an excellent round so far, which has helped make up for last rounds under par effort. Trading in M Short for Overton has paid big dividends, and Warner had been excellent since I got him 4 rounds ago. David on the E worked out perfectly. Abbott, Dwarsh, Renshaw, Billings all making solid contributions. 4 to come today, but no Sutherland, which makes me nervous.

Played: D Warner (C), C Green, M Wade (new recruit) and N Chaudhary (new recruit)
Yet to play: M Neser, C Overton, T Rogers, T Seifert, W Sutherland, M Stoinis, J Edwards and Kerr/Tye/Zampa

Great start with the very late switch to Warner VC working well. One trade left so Tye/Zampa may be traded but will have to look further into options and depends on weather.

Ended up using the last trade on Zampa down to Buckingham to free up $60+k to possibly help grab an Abbott/Richardson/M Short type next round to replace Tye. Edwards score drops out of the 12 and had to bank one of Kerr/Tye to take the Warner VC. Hopefully in a good position to halve the rank again and sneak inside the top 100.

Fun pick personally which has backfired spectacularly. Ironically, if I hadn’t picked him, I’d have ended up with someone other than Neser as well.

Not often you get 3 playing donuts, two on field from guys who have scored multiple SC tons in the past.

7/307 Overton

Stinker of a round with two injuries to boot. Have seen someone post a 900+ with 2 to play elsewhere. Had all of David, Turner, Warner, M Short, Smith C.
Might have been the same one I just saw

10/935 incl Owen , Gilkes & Ellis

The 5 mentioned + Billings & Green

Captained Smith

Siddle & Sutherland to play

8/728 Short @ 80.9 PSI
6/345 @ 57.5 PSI

Oh that feeling when you've planned your team around getting M Short post his bye/injury and didn't go through with it.
The script looked to be unfolding when Curran didn't make the squad (Warner E), Scott didn't make the XI (Chaudhary E) and a cheap Strikers (Buckingham & Haskett) to allow for M Short IN.
For large period prior to last night's game, I had pivoted from my original INs of Rogers & Webster to M Short (vc) and Buckingham (bench). Backed out in the end as the lack of information on the extent of his injury just didn't feel like the percentage play.
That decision has dented my fortune for the round and aspiration for my season's ambition.

Happy to learn that there were a few coaches who took the plunge, it's the type of decision which can definitely determine the course of your season.

I'm filled with great joy to have witnessed the interest and growth of BBL over the years on SCS, it's undeniable that we now have the best core group of BBL coaches going around. This is largely thanks to the many members who unselfishly devote their time to updating us on the latest information which we all know is a critical component in keeping up with this fast-paced game. Personally, I'm very grateful for your generosity as circumstances has meant that I'm no longer able to keep up to speed with all things BBL.

Hopefully, we can crown another SCS BBL champion in a week's time!

I think we may have found our round winner out there.

He is currently on 9/926 with Rogers and Siddle to play. He has Smith as Captain (332), M Short (164), Warner (108), David (103) and Turner (101)

Huge!
Not if...

Sutherland 175x2, Webster 100, Stoinis 100, Bethell 100, Harper 30, Rogers 0 & Siddle -1. 🤣

But in all seriousness holy moly. Basically 5 pure batters in their side.

6/311(Sutherland), assuming the Mcdermott 0 drops out.
Started ok aside from Mcdermott except for one thing, Warner out.
Got rid of Warner to allow me to keep Agar as an e loop and have more options assuming that the Sixers Scorchers game was gonna be rained out. Abbott 94 was great, 2/2 nice scores since I've traded him in but also had to deal with Edwards 4.

Mixed feelings overall, Warner went out for Owen but he was on my emergencies so didn't count to my score, also avoided a few players that I would have considered as trade in targets, Richardson(4) Hardie(0) Neser 22 and getting lucky with fading Overton(37), along with trading out Allen(15).

Will be happy if I can hold ground this round and hopefully build to a top 1000 finish.
