This is the kind of ish of why the NBA is floundering and the NFL is flourishing and taking their lunch money.

The NFL has a playoff game, that requires a significantly larger stadium and they play it. The NBA has canned three games now, it's embarrassing how easy they are on the players and how afraid they are to get them to do their job under any kind of adversity.

Jokic just flat out goated right now. I don't know if a player has ever been this far clear of the competition as he is right now. Be nice if the mess of a roster around him can step up enough to not cost him a title, unless he's facing the Magic of course

It's great to see Westbrook having a really great season, always liked him and he was done badly by the Lakers, so good to see him proving he's still pretty good.

The less said about OG, the better!

Amazing how quickly a week can go from good to terrible in this format

I don't think there's any NFL games being played in the fire zone: for the Rams game, they just moved it to Arizona. You would think the NBA could do similar, and move the games to a neutral stadium, but I am guessing the LA teams (especially the Lakers) are among the more popular teams and they don't want to appear to disadvantage them.

Can't see the fire situation only affecting games this round. Definitely something to consider.

The other difference is the NFL HAS to be played over this weekend.

The best example of an NFL game in a similar situation was the Damar Hamlin game. That one was cancelled with both teams being given a tie.

That's kind of the point, rearranging a much bigger event is far harder and yet the NFL does it without even thinking about anything else while the NBA doesn't want to inconvenience LeBron so they just can it instead, it's under an hour to Vegas or San Diego both of which have multiple arenas that can host the game.

Definitely an issue moving forward, at some point that suits the Lakers they'll play the makeup games so that's going to also be a factor moving forward if we get the advanced notice.

The irony... A game cancelled because it's too cold on the other side of the country

740 SGA, 9 still to play* not too bad with 3 missed games from 2 highest scorers & Murphy lll benched. Will be happy with anything over 1k

Rd12 trades already proving a headache. Too many things to consider.

Bit of a down round for me. Mainly because of Reaves.

778 with 5 to come. SGA captain amongst them. Happy with my PODs in Barnes and jaren Jackson jr but the popular options like towns and Westbrook have done well too.

No idea what trades to make, that is a future me problem.

I looked into it but didn't have the cojones. :(

80 points for the round says he would have been a great get for sub 7M.

Nikola Jovic tonight: 21 PTS 8 REB 5 AST 8-12 FG 4-7 3P +20 The youngest player in Heat history to reach those numbers in a game.

Similar here. Wanted a piece of Miami due to the Butler news but unfortunately couldn’t make it work. Wanted to keep SGA, Towns and Davis whilst preferring Durant over Booker which meant Johnson (BKN) over Jovic. Will be an interesting situation to monitor if Butler returns or is traded, after his suspension.

It sounds as if they want to ship him off sometime this upcoming week, but the list of potential suitors is dropping hard.

was definitely someone i wanted, had him on my watchlist since beginning of the season
unfortunately needed a SG this week so went grimes instead
was about 200k short of clowney to bench slot to facilitate edey trade next week
and 1mill short of Jovic in and Dunn staying on the bench

He might find a team .... surely he has something lined up ...
- LaVine to me probably won't with his contract ...
