I don't quite understand the 'potential' chaos re Doran.
Firstly, he needs to be named in the XI to cause 'potential' chaos.
If he's named, then he would be a welcome replacement for Harper for those coaches who don't want to invest a trade for the WKP spot. If he was to be one of your dedicated loop, then you just bench him to be safe (in case he makes an appearance for their 2nd game).
For non-owners, he could provide a viable downgrade path to get them to Short/Smith ala Buckingham/Haskett from last round.

In lieu of the word 'chaos', I would prefer to use 'opportunity' in its place to promote a more creative mindset for our coaches.

Season is about to end , need a little bit of interest to spice things up 😀

Those that are aware of Squad drops etc will be able to work through different combinations.

He might even get named tomorrow night and punch out a 50+

Talented player , deserves a opportunity.

Certainly is a couple of cheapies that are playing tonight (Beardman & Fanning) that will release dollars for coaches , might be a few more for the rest of the round.

Wakim could be of interest on a DGR.

Plenty of time though for coaches to react to news to set up their team.

Personally I will field Billings and then reassess after tonight to where best use Doran & Harper (also have Stoinis as a 🍩) , might even have Boyce & Weatherald to use as yet , still no idea who to trade in this round.

I guess there are probably some who will VC someone tonight and may use Doran as their donut to lock it in, unaware he's in the squad. Probably not going to be too many caught out this way though.

Beardman and Morris (surely not managed again for Jhye & Spoors /Tye)

Yeah I'm not questioning the 5 bowlers bit, just the likelihood the kid on debut in the must win game bowls all 4.

557 last round, completely saved by Smith. Not too sure how to set the team up this round regarding trades, and I don't have many good looping opportunities. Likely outs are Webster, Richardson and probably Bartlett. Don't really want to get rid of Bartlett, but it might be the safer play with no cover for the last game if there is rain.

That then allows me to get Short, Behrendorff/Morris and Wakim.
