Seriously considered doing Enzo to Foden, but with 11 trades and DGs and byes to go, it wasn't a 'necessity'.
Don't really need the $3.2m in price disparity they'll have after this week's results.
But with City having IPS next GW, it's something to now worry about.
Hopefully Pep plays roulette and benches him, but unlikely. Likely KDB is benched.

The great wall of Notts Forest.

23 shots from Liverpool and ii reckon 20 must have been blocked. Williams had a whale of a game on Salah, the (2) CD where very annoying for Liverpool supporters and superstars for Forrest. Always getting in the way, always getting a foot in to disrupt a attacking play......Arhhhhh.

Good game to watch the last 20 minutes end to end play....

Palmer VC taken.

TAA > Robinson trade this round has netted 16 points :) Unfortunately MGW (who i nearly benched) brings me back to the pack a bit. Salah was VC so ill be running the guantlet with Bruno.

Bruno (c), Diallo, Raya, Son & Mitoma to come.

Wouldn't call it the great wall of Forest. It's a low block style, and it is simple and can work, and that's why Wood scored with our first attempt on goal. The game of football has all become 'Pepp' ball, and many teams aren't skillful enough to maintain this, just ask Southampton. Athletico Madrid are another team that adopt this low block style, and they play Champions league, so it can work. It unifies a team, creates more discipline.

Pool's reject in Neco, is NF's gain :p He was a right back then, but we've turned him into a right footed LB, which is quite rare, and it works against Salah, who likes to cut-in on to his left foot.

Spanish is not my strong suit... ;)
Mine neither

Knotingham Forest going well 😉

Is low block just keeping the CB's closer to the keeper then trying to force the opposition through the middle rather down the flanks ?

Mids dropping back to further close up space

Haven't watched EPL in years so not sure what the new formation/strategies are

Spot on.

Defenders remain in - or just outside - their penalty area, with midfielders and attackers not much further in front. When the opposition meets the low block, the weight of numbers and lack of space makes it very hard to create chances to score

Spurs run a high line defense, which is why they leak goals frequently as it is a lot easier to get in an behind their defense, but they score more.

Thanks for that

The Malcom Blight theory let's score more than what the opposition does.

Lot easier in AFL than football.

Good to see the English game has developed from GK kicks it as far as he can and the CF heads it/ runs onto it
