All in my first draft except for #10. Starting Tino on the bench even with the early Bye.? Lots of Value in the 2RF.
It's one I'm really tossing up, so appealing at that price that I keep ignoring the fact that he's returning from an ACL. Can pivot to May easily enough though, just waiting to see how he goes during trials.

Anyone keen on the fins with their opening run? Rabbitohs (H), Knights (A), Tigers (H), Broncos (H), Titans (A).
Isaako at $616,700 and Tupou at $381,800 are the likely starting wingers for them.
Haven't seen much chat regarding them at all.

I keep trying to decide what to do at 5/8. The last few years I've gone with Douehi, Burton, Brown & Galvin. I've been pretty happy with all those picks.

It's not a high upside position so maybe this is a spot where I sacrifice and don't invest in.

I do think there is some value with Munster but coming off surgery and an early bye, might give him a miss.

Campbell - round 1 bye.
Brown - Partially torn acl, no thanks.
Burton- solid pick but will probably start with Kiraz, so I don't think I won't a bulldogs double up.
Luai - I can see the appeal but he's never really been a sc player, happy to skip.
Galvin - Interested to see how it goes with Luai, has a really friendly sc game, I don't mind him if I have the cash.
Metcalf- good price, might gk but feel like he will have a low floor unless he scores often.
Walker - Every year there is a patch where he is sc relevant, not sure if that will be from Rd1 but is in consideration.
Pryce - I just don't trust his coach.
Doeuhi- might be a ctw for the tigers and could be gk.

At this stage I'm looking Douehi or Metfcalf plus a nuff. Might be the way to go and try to get as many VC scores as possible. But still open to anyone.

I really like their fixtures to start the season.

At Hok I do think JMK has a bit of value but with Plath there they probably kill each other a little with Gilbert back a well.
If Kerr got a guaranteed 50 minutes a game i'd be very interested but doubtful.
Finefeuiaki is cheap, may end up in my side but don't think he has the greatest sc game.
Farnworth - I'm a big fan, but at 728k I think thats pretty much his peak.
Isaako - I owned much of last season and he was a bit frustrating, if he has Farworth inside of him that's a no from me.
Tupou - I just think that's Bostocks position now, if he does get it I'll be all over him.
Hammer - Maybe he's the one, started last season on fire. I just think he has no work rate all, so he's always a tough one to own.

5/8 is literally a wasteland this year, no cheapies at all. Currently running Metcalf plus a dual position nuff in that position. Really hoping he gets the goal kicking. Just be aware that the warriors have a Bye round 5 so you’ll have no 5/8 at that time but the Flex position kinda mitigates that and you’ll still have a full 17 👍🏽

@leadership team, I notice with the AFL there is pro/rel leagues for SCS. Is this something that would be possible for NRL? I would be happy to set them up and run them (probably 3 I would say assuming there is interest), but I certainly don't want to overstep my bounds as just a poster on this site. No cash, just a bit of fun and hopefully some more structure to the NRL on SCS.

You are more than welcome to guage interest and set up the leagues. We are slowly building our numbers of NRL players, so hopefully there is a big enough pool out there interested.

Haas injured is very disappointing. He will most likely be fit for Rd 1 but don't think I'll be paying up now.
Basically the SC gods saying "You'll pick Terrell May and you'll enjoy it". With Haas and Tino coming off injuries, Tapine being a slow starter and AFB being in a new team, Barnett is the only other gun FRF option. Might have to start looking at someone like Ford to fill in that second front row spot or hope one of Horse,Whyte or Clark get a starting/big mins role in their sides.

Top 10 most owned FRFs amongst all coaches so far

Thanks, much appreciated. I will set something up in the next day or two and we can go from there.

First draft with $2,600 remaining.

Like the set up, quite different from other drafts.
Tupou - great starting run if he nabs the wing position.
Howarth - was looking at him but don't love his opening draw. Bye, Panthers and Manly away in the first 5.
Burton - soft opening draw, 7% ownership, good pod pick.
Weekes - another decent pod pick at 5%, just wondering if you could toss in Metcalf and see similar returns whilst saving 90k.
Hynes - great price, okay draw, someone I definitely want to get in by round 7.
Hopgood & Bateman - good low ownership picks, Hopgood 3-4 points undervalued while I actually think Cowboys have the worst draw for the first 5 games so I've been avoiding them.
JFH - in my team right now, think he plays bigger mins at the warriors, average shoots up to 67.6 in games he played over 50 mins in 2024, 57.4 in over 50 mins in 2023 and 57.2 in over 50 mins in 2022 so there's some value there but could be a season keeper if he gets AFB levels of gametime at the warriors.
