Fantasy sports are largely luck based at the best of times, this particular comp is even more weighted to luck over any kind of good management. It feels like most weeks there's really only about 5 trade options anyway so there's nowhere near as much of a skill to picking the players so just hoping that the ones you choose actually play and then on top of that, score...

10/40* SI's so far. One game lost from Antet.

358 on the board.

Must be playing about the only team in the eliminator that's alive and doesn't own the Joker. Projected to win by around 250.

Seems like the Davis questionable info yesterday that spooked me into an OO hold over Gafford may pay sound dividends.

Yeah this game in particular needs massive changes to make it entertaining again in my opinion.

Having multiple starters go down with injury in their first game of the week... each and every week really becomes tiresome. Even more so when you have guys on your bench scoring well who really should be able to replace those missed games if this game was set up properly.

I too am not enjoying all the horrendous bad luck lately, and like you, I feel like packing it up for the season and I am sick and tired of it. But I will persevere, as I know that our luck will eventually change.
I doubt that Sportsdeck reads this thread, so I will be contacting them to request, no, plead with them to amend their rules to enhance the overall experience.

A couple of changes I would like to see is another spot for the centre position to have 2 instead of 1 like the rest of the positions.
And also have 50% of your bench players score count towards your overall score they have this in nbl fantasy.

Good thinking about contacting them... Think I might do the same with some suggestions for next season. The more of us that do so, the more chance of getting some changes I think.

The injuries have caught up with me this round ...

Every plan I had involved keeping Gafford so really can't complain about his unfortunate injury

I had a choice of holding KD or Lillard ...
- when Lillard was out I kept KD .... which forced me to field Micic (now injured)
- that decision allowed me to keep Ware and bring in Buzelis ... both making "bench" cash so far but has cost me a lot of on field points ...
- if I kept Lillard it would have cost me Ware and no Buzelis ...

Sometimes things just don't work out as planned .... grrr

My original trades had me bringing in Murray, Sabonis & McDaniels... Keeping Gafford for the price increase but leaving him on the bench and playing McDaniels.

Instead I brought in A.Edwards, Wemby & J.Edwards on the bench playing Gafford.

Wish I'd chosen my original set of trades.

I couldn't get Buzelis and Wemby so sacrificed him, had a great game today, hopefully Ware just about takes care of the rest of my cash gen concerns and can just play the BE/schedule game from here.

Durant unlikely to play it looks so that hurts given he's one of my most unique guys and one of 3 unique players in my eliminator against a very strong team.

Antetokounmpo (knee) has been upgraded to probable for Wednesday's game against Charlotte.

Gafford (shoulder) was a full participant at Wednesday's practice, Grant Afseth of DallasHoopsJournal.com reports.

Lillard (groin) has been upgraded to probable for Wednesday's game against the Hornets.

Durant (ankle) will not play Wednesday against the Thunder, according to NBA reporter Chris Haynes.

Durant vs the Okungwu and Edwards monsters today will officially end my Eliminator run, was already down a game with LeBron so no coming back from that, pretty sure this was the deepest I've ever made it in any of the different DT comps, so that's something!

Going to be some wild divergence in scores this week with so many of those 50/50 decision players going in entirely opposite directions to eachother.

Been a solid pick so far for those that opted to go down that path. Surprised N Reid didn’t feature in many/any considerations as I would have preferred him over McDaniels if I had the opportunity and was hoping the above would lead into Reid discussion but I feel the valuable PF spot was a deterrence given the ceiling of other options. -22 points behind McDaniels last round but is 22 points up this round to draw level.
