One of Doggett or O'Neill to miss each game.
Wonder if they have told Richo to look around for options and if he can't find a suitor they re-sign him late or he retires.
Jewell has been handy at times , just needs to convert those 20's and 30's more.
Must have 11 locals + Seifert signed now.
Can't contract Peake and Stow yet as they were LRP's , doesn't leave them much room for others.

BBL sensation to debut, Murphy axed

Australia is set to unveil its fourth debutant in as many Tests with West Australian Cooper Connolly to receive his baggy green this morning in Galle.
The 21-year-old left-arm spinning all-rounder will be included to face Sri Lanka in the second Test at the expense of Todd Murphy.
Australia will go in with three specialists bowlers, two all-rounders and a part-timer.
Connolly has played for Australia in both white-ball formats but does not have a first-class wicket.

I gather you are not predicting 10,000 Test runs for Connolly before he bats 😉
Smith did have 26 FC wickets @ 48.44 admittedly before his debut.
Did include a 7/64 though.
9 wickets from 3 bowls @ the crease in 2007-08 BBL including a 4/15

2010 T20 World Cup he was equal 3rd for the most wickets.
Did a lot of work on his bowling with Terry Jenner.

Marcus North got 6/55 in the second Innings of Smith's debut Test (Smith 3/51) , what on earth were Pakistan doing 🤔
Connolly looked tidy bowling his maiden over , hasn't been sighted since.
I would have liked them to pick Sangha , can't believe Sri Lanka dropped their leggies.
