How many early bye keeper/midprice players do we think are too many?

Lots will have at least Mills & Smith but there are also a number of players that I find appealing with an early bye.

FWIW Im trying to avoid the early bye players but Im really bullish on Gulden and also think Will Ashcroft is quite underpriced.

Could make arguments for all of Daicos, Day, Rowell, Callaghan, Stewart, SDK, Perryman, Heeney… the list goes on!

For the midpricers might be more important to start them so that you don’t miss a price rise and target the premos as your first group of upgrades post bye?

Not sure I've misunderstood you, but if you have SC gold you can view player ownership in the "Players" section if you select "Coach's Choice" in the drop down (you can select from all coaches, top 1%, top 10% etc).
Oh yes you're right Chumpion thanks, think I'd either forgotten about that feature or never used it lol
Has it always been a dropdown box or did it used to just be there in your team list?
Looking at my Team I only have 7 players under 10%

I think it’s been in the drop down for as long as I can remember, which admittedly is only a handful of seasons!

So currently a list of players who potentially keeper's who will miss the first couple of games and possibly price drop.
Tom Green
Darcy Parish
Sean Darcy.
Any others?
When the first team picker came out, I was all over Petracca and couldn’t tell you if he’s expected to play round one or not… Definitely on my watch list though if he plays forward early before gaining more and more time on ball!

Yeo & Trealor are another two that I’ll be keeping an eye on. Trealor’s bye will make it hard to justify brining him in though…

Trac will play round 1 and yes, expecting him to play more forward than usual to start with.

First upgrade target in mind if he is forward.

It can always change but I'd like to get onto him before the potential higher midfield games and 500-550k is a decent early snare.
Hes had 110 years as a centre bounce mid that immediately goes forward, role worries me alot less than most midfield options, long as he looks fit hell find a way to score.

Yeh he rarely gets a touch in the D50. The CB mids that hang around tend to do a lot more D50 work.

Having the chance at 20% extra bonus in D50 takes a few mids to that extra level.

For me, only one other. So many midpricers fail. A normal midpricer failing is annoying and tricky to fix, add in the missed early bye and it compounds the problem with extra lost points. Maybe you could make a case for one with a round 4 bye and you could trade them out at their bye if their not going well.
