You would be happy with Perryman, Daicos, Nank and Short if you had them before today.
Not really, wanted Perryman to stay more of a POD. Mills was probably the one that’s caused his rise in popularity anyway.

Couldn’t really take much from that game, didn’t learn anything if I’m honest.

I still think he probably gets overlooked over similar options. He probably still discourages a fair amount on being defensive. Take the goal and a few tackles off and that is probably where he sits most weeks.

I'd be happy if he can produce at about 10% off what Hewett did in a similar outlook a few seasons back.

I would think Tom Mitchell in 2023 was a decent benchmark and keep in mind that Titchell could also affect him at some point. Removing Titchells injured games he averaged 104 and he is a fantasy pig. 95 might be a reasonable expectation for Perryman. Not a must have but might fill a spot.

Yeh it's still a really limited sample on Daicos as M1 and what fills in behind him.

Pendlebury was their main second and Crisp only increased after Mitchell + JDG were injured.

Hard to read into that. At least we get another look because that was Scott just wanting to see what Tsatas and Hobbs have to offer. Hobbs is not that much more expensive than Tsatas.
Hobbs can get the ball but his use and decision making was very poor yesterday. Tsatas a better option than Hobbs for me. I personally would be disappointed to see Hobbs in our senior team unless he dramatically improves his disposal.

You can use whatever narrative you like for each player to justify them in or out of your teams but I think understanding the damage some of the players can do to your season not having them. I’d be prepared to risk a few fades potentially with high ownership numbers but guys like Sheezel, Daicos, Bont, Xerri and even Gawn I’m super nervous about leaving out even with the bye. Remember that you’re getting two players here for the price of one.

Not sure I get the last comment, you’re only getting 1 player for the exact price that they performed last year? You’ll only get burned if they outperform that, or in Gawn/Bont’s case maybe doing what they did + captain scores. Bit like picking GAJ priced at 130, you knew him going 130 again was a big win because you could just C him every week.

But yeah on the whole I agree, you think you’re missing out on a game, but when Daicos outdoes Brayshaw by 50 points in round one, then you’ve already unwound what was lost.

The huge thing to also consider is, you're down a game in best 18 weeks with between 5 (no loops) and 8 (with loops) scores dropping out. There's a massive difference between that scenario and a premium missing in a normal best 22 week.
