Are you saying that because of him asking for compensation for the Sunday night crowd? Bit rich from Eddie i would've thought. This is what most of the smaller clubs deal with most weeks (playing on Sunday that is)
No, him in general just recent months.
Strange thing in his call for compensation for really poor size crowd Sunday for our two clubs is that I thought Carlton and Collingwood had been sharing the takings from our two meetings each season for over a decade. Maybe that has changed. So I thought we lost out as a club as much as Collingwood with poor turn out on Sunday. If only Collingwood lost that is not good too as Carlton and Collingwood clashes usually guaranteed of big crowd no matter what. Stupid time to have a game. Twilight Sunday is almost too late for last game of round unless it is in Perth but any later just ridiculous.
As for Eddie himself he's been crapping on about COLA, Equalisation policy, free agency, fixturing, re-viewing league history etc etc. and all of his points have been motivated by simply his only Collingwood interests which is to be expected. What I'm of sick of hearing is him making out it is anything else and trying to say he speaks for more than just his own club and has the games interest at heart. Most of the time he does not. How he behaved to Adam Goodes last season after making out he was sticking up for him originally was a disgrace. Goodes saw threw it and rightfully does not call him a friend. Majority of time he is simply got his biased Collingwood opinion being expressed but he makes out as if it is not. Most of other presidents are a bit more balanced of how often they make comment and how they express their views.
