Doggies have a lot of potential in the midfield so could work nicely in the end for your boys to pick up a decent KPP.

I'll admit it could work out well for you in the long run, GWS are sitting on some good KPF's and if you could get a second round draft pick as well you'd be doing ok.

I don't know whether it's just me but I think people are severly underestimating brisbane for next year. They have some amazing young midfeild talent but lack big key position defenders and forwards. Even if they dont get beams this year they could possibly get him next year for free through free agency. This is their current midfeild and age.

That will be a seriously insane midfeild in 4 years if they can retain players.

you say Brisbane have no key position players however if you look at their list they have quite a few. They generally all young players in development stage. Certainly not lacking in that area.

Definitely agree. Good on Collingwood for holding out and handing the Lions this Friday deadline, it has seemed to work. They've had the upper hand this whole time.

That's quite the theory! It may be part of the reason why the Lions are looking like letting him go, as they're afraid he'll go back to SA in a couple of years anyway.

My prediction at what's going to happen out Brisbane way:

Aish and Pick 5 > Beams
Patfull > Pick 21
Pick 21 and Pick 25 > Christensen and Pick 35

In: Beams, Christensen and Pick 35
Out: Aish, Patfull, Pick 5 and Pick 25 (not including Pick 21 because that pretty much is Patfull himself)

Wondering if Brisbane supporters would consider this a win or not?

Aish was pick 7 last year so him plus pick 5 is better than two picks inside the top 10 for Beams because Aish has a year under his belt. Would be a super trade for Collingwood!
