Round 12 seems to be the toughest at this stage.

Loving Brisbane at round 11 as well, makes Rockliff the easiest wait and see call of the year!

No disrespect to Stk, WB, Melb supporters! Just wanna research who plays these teams twice.

Without studying, Carlton should have a favourable draw considering their finishing position.

I guess the silver lining might be that there may be some SC relevant players from Essendon, whom are abit cheaper after their bye.

With Essendon having the same bye as Ablett, Pendles, Fyfe, JPK, in the midfield, it would be problematic to start any Essendon players in the midfield anyway.

With Essendon having the same bye as Ablett, Pendles, Fyfe, JPK, in the midfield, it would be problematic to start any Essendon players in the midfield anyway.

Yeah for sure, did't even think about Jobe and JPK. Will make for interesting starting midfields next year that's for sure.

Rough draw for my boys too probably worst draw in the comp at this stage. Fremantle, Sydney, Hawthorn, North Melbourne, Adelaide and West Coast in the first six rounds.

Welcome to life up top. Hawks have had the strongest draw in terms of who we've played for the last two, now three season. Didn't stop us though

Interesting to note that the BYE weeks have been pushed back this year from rounds 8-9-10 last year (from memory) to rounds 11-12-13 this year.

What do people think that means for their starting teams? Last year it was right around that part of the year where your initial rookies like Tyson, Polec, Dunstan etc were ready to be killed off and upgraded to premium players and so starting with a couple of extra money makers was great as they were ripening at the perfect time.

I wonder if the later BYE weeks will see us needing to make a call on a lot of upgrades before players have had their BYE - and so perhaps your starting line-up may be slightly less reliant on a BYE structure - but something to consider when doing your early - mid season upgrades as we will be bringing in guns who must miss a match with the BYES.

Just a thought - interested to see how other people see the later BYE's affecting our starting teams / trading strategies!!

Time to get back to that drawing board.

In my draft SC team, 4 of 5 non rookie priced players in the midfield have a Rd 12 bye, both my rucks have a Rd 13 bye and 4 of 5 non rookie priced forwards have a Rd 12 bye.

I absolutely agree that the BYE's were in prime upgrade time last year. And I too am looking forward to see what it means for season 2015. It may be more mid-pricers - or it may be get as many Guns into your first team as you can and let your kids ripen a bit more, swapping them as new players "on the bubble" arrive on the scene and building a war chest to trade through the BYEs.

Cant be waiting too late to upgrade though or you will miss out on vital points the leaders who are already upgrading have been getting.

Need to take risks to be in contention for the overall prize!!

Yeah mate you blokes do it tough every year. Personally will relish the opportunity to play so many good sides. Will be a real indicator of our progress.

Not an easy first half the season for North, expect to win 6-8 any more would be a bonus.

North to win 13 at worst and 16 at best, probably finish 4th-6th on the ladder (barring lots of injuries or lots of luck). To finish any higher and North will have to beat teams like Hawthorn, Sydney, Port Adelaide and Fremantle. Considering North did this in 2014 it's not outside the realm of possibilities, but i definitely wouldn't be banking on it next season. Interesting to see North play Melbourne, GWS, St Kilda and the Western Bulldogs once each. While they play Geelong, Fremantle, Richmond and Essendon twice (two finished in the top 4 and the other two finished 7th and 8th in 2014).

Overall it's not close to the worst or best draw, should see North playing finals and possibly vying for a top 4 spot if things go well.

6 trips interstate or over to NZ.
oh well, thankfully the Sunday night games and Monday night games are over but we end up travelling a bit next year.
Twice to Perth, twice to Sydney, once to Brisbane and once to NZ for Anzac Day.
Strange how we play home game v Haws at Etihad but play Port at MCG.

Gold Coast and GWS play Stk, Melbourne and each other in 3 of the first 4 weeks. Ward just about locked for me now and Griffen under seriously consideration.
