think i will pick a few solid renegade players seeing as they have no bye (no dbl headers either) and not to many of 1 team from the others although we have 3 trades per round this season

The best Renegades options appear to be Finch (common pick I expect), Wade, Bravo and Pattinson. Bravo feels overpriced slightly because we know he had such a great couple of games last season at the end but didn't have enough games to normalize his average down. I saw a predicted batting order that had him around 6th or 7th. That's tough for the nerves hoping he gets a good run.

Do you see him batting high enough in the order to give us enough good scores with no doubles? It's tough unless they are batting top 4.

Or are you thinking to slot him in on the bench? I think he's $41k so yes could be a cash cow option for sure.

5 is getting a bit low in T20 though. I saw a predicted line up that had him at 5 behind Finch, Rohrer, Wade and Cooper. That's my only reservation about him. Some games he wouldn't even bat (very few but some). Thst said, I've brought him in on my bench after your tip. I think if he bats 4 he's viable. 5 becomes more of a lottery.

U can never tell what order they will bat in anyway they may premiere him to 3 one game and be down at 7 the next

That's true but generally there's consistency in who they play in their top 3-4. I read a team preview today from another fantasy site that questions if Ferguson will even make the 11 let alone bat where we want him so who knows. I do know though from bitter experience the more openers you pick the better. Spend $20K more on Ferguson and you get Hales or White, both openers.

Yeah

In fact I reckon there's too much value almost. You could field a good side and have $100k spare

Anyway ...

All-rounders of the West Indian kind ... thoughts on Smith v Pollard v Bravo? Smith has the double in R2 but then needs to be traded in R3 at which point you could swap him to Pollard and Bravo.

Or are Pollard and Bravo just that step ahead you may as well start either ahead of Smith.

Michael Clarke you are a star!! Comes out to bat this morning even with his horrific back injury, and not only that but has been brilliant as he nears a ton.

Smith on 98 not out also, covers on unfortunately atm.

Both of the first two leagues were full, so I made another one!

I like starting with a few too many sixers like Maddinson, Starc (he's back right?), Lee, because they have 3 games then the bye in round 3! Will increase price before everyone else!

They do have a bye from R3 from memory do the only trick is to not leave yourself too many players to trade at once. I'm also looking at a Sixers load I just don't want to overdo it

Novel way of umpire letting the batsman know the bowler is changing to bowling around the wicket.

Clarke is on 98 facing India's fastest bowler.

Umpire " Michael!,
Change of plan. A little bit of bodyline son"

Kieswetter will not play for the thunder he suffered a serious eye injury in a county game in England and will also miss the World Cup. Bad luck for him now Hartley becomes everyone's wicket keeper I'd guess

Mitchell Johnson first ball to Virat Kohli whacks him straight on the helmet. Tough stuff for Haddin and Warner to experience close up again but they all managed to get through it. Kohli assured them he is fine after checking out his helmet. Johnson was a bit shaken up but all looks fine. Least the players are not too scared to play normal cricket. Impressive bowling by Johnson in the little I watched in last twenty minutes.
India 2 for about 120 at Tea.
