BREAKING NEWS
Acting Australian captain Steve Smith has just confirmed that fast bowling duo Ryan Harris and Peter Siddle will miss the second Test in Brisbane, meaning that Mitchell Starc is back in, and Josh Hazlewood will debut !
"Ryan Harris pulled up a little stiff and sore from Adelaide, he's got a slight quad-strain," said Smith.
"With Starc, we wanted to play a bowler with a bit of pace and bounce.
"Mitchell deserves his spot, he's bowled well with NSW in the Sheffield Shield
"It's obviously very disappointing for Peter Siddle who's been a terrific bowler for a long period of time. He's not out of the loop, he's still around the team and hopefully he'll play another game soon."
Smith has also elevated himself to number four in the Test line-up, taking over from the injured Michael Clarke, with Shaun Marsh to slot into the XI at five.
