Smith you animal. If it were me, i'd be batting for averages and knocking around singles haha (semi serious here)

What do yous reckon he declares on? Copped a bit of slack for his late-ish declaration in the last test, wonder if that will be on his mind
Completely different circumstances I think.
India are going to find it hard not to get bowled out is my thoughts. I sense Starc, Harris and Lyon be a handful tomorrow. 300 will be enough imho. But if score quickly tonight could get it up to 330 lead. I just sense even if enough time for India to get runs I'd back us to bowl them out.

Friggin hell. Hearing rumours Pollard and Dwayne Bravo might not get picked in Windies World Cup squad.
Sad if true. They clearly should be in.

Kohli is a legend already.
Only Viv Richards and Hadlee had more aggression on our soil as players to try and expect to win. Oh and maybe Javed Miandad.
Love his arrogance. Does not always say the right thing but plays cricket in right spirit of competition. So happy he is Indian captain.
My favourite Indian player ever. Only seen him four Tests. He won me over first Test with his style. He played to win when losing was clearly a big risk. Tendulkar was a true great of India bats but must admit I love this guys aggression for his team to win more.
Finally I have read something about Kohli in which the author opinion matches the exact same stance I take on him.
Star!!!! I loved him even before this series just for the fact that he has a crack, the fact that he has now truly announced himself as a test cricketer and captain is just brilliant.

Smith has shown that being test skipper will not effect his performances with the bat at all, and played a selfless innings here today in which he could have easily clocked up another ton had he not been going so hard at it to get to a declaration.

Kohli and Smith had some series.
Not sure ever seen a Test series where player from each team scored four centuries.
Have to look up how many Mark Taylor made in 1989. Think I remember 800 runs in a series.
But this is only four Test series.
Just checking on Mark Taylor via wiki...
Beginning with a century at Headingley in his First Test against England, Taylor amassed 839 runs at 83.90 in the six Tests: the second best aggregate in an Ashes series in England, behind Don Bradman's 974 runs in 1930. He occupied the crease for a total of 38 hours, more than six full days of play. The highlight of his tour was the Fifth Test at Trent Bridge when he and Geoff Marsh became the first pair to bat throughout a day's play of Test cricket in England, amassing 301 runs. Taylor made 219 in a partnership of 329, an Ashes record. He finished with 71 and 48 in the Sixth Test to overtake Neil Harvey for the third-highest series aggregate in Test history and totalled 1,669 first-class runs for the tour. Australia won the series 4–0 to regain the Ashes. However, Taylor was overlooked for selection in the ODIs.
Returning to Australia, Taylor made 1,403 first-class runs at 70.15 during the 1989–90 season, and ended 1989 with 1,219 Test runs, thus becoming the first player to better one thousand Test runs in his debut calendar year, something only matched once by England opener Alastair Cook over 15 years later.[citation needed] In Taylor's first nine Tests, Australia passed 400 in the first innings. He scored centuries in successive Tests against Sri Lanka, and against Pakistan his scores were 52 and 101 at the MCG, 77 and 59 at the Adelaide Oval and an unbeaten 101 at Sydney. Australia won both series 1–0. In just over twelve months, he had amassed 1,618 runs at 70.35. This outstanding start to his career earned Taylor nomination as one of the five Wisden Cricketers of the Year in 1990. At the season's end, he demonstrated his leadership abilities for the first time. Standing in as NSW captain in place of the injured Geoff Lawson for the 1989–90 Sheffield Shield final in Sydney, Taylor scored 127 and 100. NSW won by 345 runs to secure its 40th title.

Great innings Joe Burns.
Excellent timing.

Similar context to second innings Kim Hughes provided in 1980.

I think this video only shows first innings but we needed quick runs in second innings to give chance of victory with rain around and Hughes did then what Burns done today. Love it.

Actually going off for bad light which was same problem in 1980 match.

Burns on fire. Impressed!!!!!
I made the call before he had even made his debut that he was going to be good!! (And a replacement for Watson when Mitch Marsh comes back)
That innings did no harm in proving my point haha Great stuff, and a fantastic hour of test cricket.

Have not seen enough of him to even have an opinion before hand. lol
Good call mate.
This series my first true look at him.
That innings impressed me greatly! I like it.
Well done to selectors too for picking him. Lots of armchair experts have so many opinions recently that I read on internet and not impressed with. Got to admit sense the selectors getting it right a lot more than wrong recently.

Paine and Hales out of the Hobart lineup surely mean Bailey gets a hit higher up the order before Australian duties.
Worth getting in for the double game week??

Thunder in trouble at 4/28 off 8 overs, to make matters worse Hussey is injured (possibly hamstring).

Yeah, I had hoped so aswell, and brought Bailey, Dunk and Boyce in this week.

But looking at how the Thunder have started not sure any of them will get much of a go in game 1.

4/27 after 8 overs.

Kallis, Hussey both out cheaply with Hussey injured as well.

Need the rain to go away and for Bailey to get a bat, I also traded Hilfy in so atlas he got me a wicket early, however I'd like another one or two.

Your going better than me, at least Hilfy has had a bowl and has one for. Boyce has not had much of a run yet and unless the rain goes away, will not.

I played BB Fantasy for round one last year. Some game was washed out in round one in Tassie. I had 5 players in that game.
When it was abandoned it turned out players that had a bat or bowl still scored points but the guys that never could got given zero.
Naturally I had 5 of them...lol.
I deleted my account on the Monday and made my mind up to never play again with such stupid rules. Five zeros meant no point playing for rest of summer. Least for you guys your fantasy season to this point been clear of this mess. If you get away with one or two players being affected guess it not end of world but can spoil the whole game. Glad in a way it happened first weekend last year as meant I did not waste any more time on it and knew the rule was flawed straight away.

Target of 82 for the Hurricanes.
Deeman you'll be happy that Dunk got a couple of catches. I really need Bailey to get a hit.
The boy from Geelong, Jake Reed, ends up with of 4 wickets for next to nothing!
