With Jay's approval we have decided to have some cash leagues here. Please register your interest in this thread and once we get an idea of numbers, we'll start creating some registration threads.

I've added a poll to gauge where people's heads are at with regard to entry fee and focus.

Note: Those who register here will get priority when the registration threads are created.

A bit of legal background but I've checked and the competition does not require a licence from the Victorian Commissioner of Gambling.

The reason is that the competition is 'Not a Game of Chance' and thus does not require a licence.

As a fallback, even if it was a 'Game of Chance', the total prize money is under $5,000 and all money collected is returned as prizes and thus not required.

Also note I won't be in any of the Cash Games as I have no room (8 SCS Leagues, 1 SCE and 1 Home League).

In $100 league sounds good $1800 total, $1500 to the winner and $300 to highest overall scorer

Oh hell yeah, I love me a cash league!

$100 buy-in has my vote. Combination of league and overall prizes sounds good to me.

Maybe something like this:

Grand final winner: $800
Runners up: $400
Semi finalists: $200 each
Highest overall ranked team: $200

This allows four, possibly five coaches to at least double their money. Not saying we have to have a structure like this but it's an example.

Also voted for 'Combination of league/overall rank focus'. Ben's Beasts example payout structure looks good, but I'd be flexible.

Voted $50 mainly due to that I could be in a couple of cash leagues. Will pay $100 though. Perhaps if there is enough interest there could be two (or more) cash leagues at different price entry points.
