There are so many common picks amongst players on this forum. I wonder if anyone might be willing to share a hidden gem with the group and their justification why they are likely to pick them.

Personally I have two. I'll share one with you.

D Zorko. He's a DPP again and although he'll likely fill a spot in the Lions fwd line, i feel he'll still rack up plenty of time in the guts and he wins his own ball which we know is gold. He'll kick plenty of goals, is having a good pre-season by all accounts, and is a class player who will be well served by an improved Lions outfit.

I may be a little biased here so forgive me, but I can't seem to put Gray, Boomer, Goddard, or Dusty ahead of him at his price. No doubt some statistics may be against him but my gut says he's going to have a cracking year!

Not sure these players are PODS:

However, I'm monitoring Sean Lemmens ($250K), Gary Rohan ($272) and Beau Waters ($267).

Lemmens stats don't look strong, but like his game. Obviously the only reason I'd consider these players is due to price and position.

Got no idea who to start in the backline.

Jobe for me. Haven't seen him in too many draft teams prob because our draw and the asada stuff but i reckon he's nicely priced for what hes capable of.

Under Hirdy he's averaged 106, 120, 111..a bit of a stretch here for link here lol but Bombers' hi possession game style did not suit a player like Watto

Waters will be very popular if fit i'd say. Due to no one else really knowing who to start in their backlines as well lol

I need every little edge I can find so I got to admit if I find a special one very reluctant to bring notice to them as then might throw away the only decent edge I can find.

Not really sure how POD he is but I'm finding it really hard to leave out Walters (funny how our PODs are from our teams). Last year I only just left him out at 460k (good thing I did) so this year at his price I can't say no.

We missed him last year. He adds something to the team. Has plenty of inside 50s and score assists aswell as adding his 2-3 goals most games. Ross said he's 'destined for the midfield' and given the likes of Ballas and Crozier I can see it happening this year

Luke McDonald for me. 17 disposals at 75% in first season is impressive. 85ppg me thinks.

Chad Wingard is looking good for me atm. He is only $430k and was a superstar 2 years ago. I think he can get back into top form this season

I currently have 2 non-Mids over $490k in my team, that I haven't seen in any other teams. One of the two surprises me, the other not so much. ;)

Don't like his bye otherwise I'd start him.
