Melbourne has upgraded Aaron Vandenberg from rookie list as replacement for Christian Petracca, who was already on long-term injury list.
Man, I just started shuffling my team around because of that first post. Back to how it was I suppose.

could lucas take sheeds place in the team?
No Sheed is safe. Don't think Lucas will play this week. Wasn't fantastic in the WAFL last weekend.

We just have a couple of rookie upgrades we can make because of Beau Waters sudden retirement and Mackenzie's ACL. Lucas' elevation was just a reward for a solid pre-season.

Interesting... Two different verdicts on Vandenberg.

As a West Coast fan... Not terribly excited at seeing Kane Lucas upgraded.
As a Carlton fan the only exciting moment Kane Lucas provided was seeing his name on the delisted players list. I'm sure you only have about 6 months to wait to experience this yourself.

Pick three of (1 on feild)
Anderson, Heeney, Vandenburg, Miller, Sinclair

Basically depends on sub risk. What are everyone's thoughts?

He's probably a ripping kid... But as a footballer I just think he is pretty vanilla. Not a great addition to our list where we need some speed and that something different through our midfield.

Heeney on field, with Anderson and then...(I don't know). Vanderberg probably won't play rd1 but I think he will ultimately be a better selection than Miller long term.

Western Bulldogs youngster Caleb Daniel will miss around a month of footy with a torn meniscus. @RealFooty1 @theagesport

Hamling also didn't train today and was watching from the sidelines.

Could be injured, probably doubtful for Round 1 now anyway.
