Why did clubs wait until the last possible moment to upgrade their rookies? Most players have a day off on Thursdays so in most cases a player can't realistically get injured.

If the deadline was 4am I bet some clubs would still be upgrading a player at 3:58am.
Yep, and I would probably set my alarm for 3:59am so I can constantly refresh twitter to know the instant Patrick Keane tweets it!

Cheers Matt - for those of us that don't have Twitter, you are awesome :)
No worries PC

Adam Baldwin was jumping the gun big time on Vandenberg, next time I'll just stick to the official AFL tweets

Bloody Lambert!!
The SC panic has already begun for me. I didn't have much cash in the bank, and I don't have enough to go Lambert to Vandenberg. I have brought in Freeman with $700 left over!!!

Don't want to lose a premium just to fix the rookies. Not sure whether I should keep Lambert or not or get Smith.

Panic panic panic!

I'm having last minute doubts over which way to go as well. Mainly over Deledio, you would think I would have made a decision on him by now!

Some news for the West Coast Eagles... 23 players traveling east. Will Schofield not on the plane. Kane Lucas, and as we already know Tom Lamb and Jackson Nelson are flying. Mitch Brown is also flying.

So from that I reckon we might see Rosa play as our third tall back behind Brown and McGovern. Meaning Lucas might get a run on the wing. Neslon the likely sub for me.

Lamb looks like he's cementing himself as F8 in my side for now. Still trying to figure out my final mid rookie spot.

Thanks heaps LITS! What about Sheed? Any word? Would assume he is on the flight but just double checking.

Brilliant, cheers. Currently positioned at M7, but still deeply considering NVB as a replacement.

Currently, it's really a matter of:
Scoring potential - Sheed > NVB
Job security - Sheed < NVB

Although I'm bullish that Sheed can play his way into a permanent starting 21 position for the Eagles given what I've been reading online. Further, I feel as though increased job security is much easier to achieve versus increased scoring potential (especially as NVB has been around for some time now).

Rookies popping up from everywhere now!!

I was worried that I might have to get Smith, but now there should be better scoring options.

No changes. Subs Smith and Gordon.

No last minute reprieve for Lambert owners.
