Until next week when cripps busts out a 100 game then all will be keeping him. I'm just a little disappointed i got sucked into putting him in my team when I never considered him up until 5 min before lockout then I put him on ground. Should of stuck with Newton I think
Same as me, I had neither Cripps or Newton all preseason and then jumped on Cripps early Thursday morning.

I have a mate that knows a fair bit about Melbourne and gets some inside word out of there (not Jack Watts), and he's heard whispers that Brayshaw is going to be the sub. Geez I hope he's right!
Roos likes to start the young draftees in the sub vest like we saw with JKH and Salem last year. I think Brayshaw will be the sub.

Just setting my alarms for the day (lol yes seriously)... so final teams are generally in 1 hour before kick off?

Not as silly as it sounds! I'm off to a family do that starts at 1.30ish and I usually drive.

What to do!

Avoided paying the extra rookie price for Cripps. Looks a good move early but I wouldn't be quick to jump off if you do have him. Another free look before a price rise. Round 1 scores can be so deceiving. Only counts once for a price rise. Round 2 score is far more telling. Counts twice and if it's a 100, will guarantee a price rise of $100k plus. 2 trades are pencilled in for me after round 2 to catch a flyer. Cripps could yet be one of them.

Watching the game the other night he looked really off the pace, although so did Murphy and Gibbs (faded badly). Other than tackling I can't seem him being an offensive threat at all. Looks slow although Brock McLean played a lot of games for them the last few years.

Really worried about Hibberd now with all the rain they're supposed to be having in Sydney...

He's my favourite premium around that price range though so will hold off and take the sub-par Round 1 score if it happens.

Sub-par Hibberd score is usually around an 80 anyway, doesn't really ever go too low. Might be a great day for the inside mids though by the sounds of it (JPK, Watson et al.)

It must be really bad, Randwick races rained out lol

Between 3-6pm they're predicting heavy rains. 10-35mm today..is that a lot? It sounds a lot.

Hey everyone I'm sure I'm not the only one in this position but surely if Vandenburg is named on field you would have to take him over Jed Anderson. I remember slip saying that Jed is being groomed to take over from an aging Hawks midfield. I am confident in a 60-70 average from Jed if not playing sub, but am very unsure with Vandenburg. Could be 40-90 for all I know. just because he is sub this week doesn't mean we won't be the next.

What would you do and why?

Cool, think I'll start Vandeberg on ground now with Toumpas sub.

Now to decide if to have Miller....
