I wonder who the first ruck to score 100+ will be... Mumford, Jacobs, Goldy, Sandi...
It's fair to say from what we've seen so far, the change in the ruck scoring has not impacted the ruckmen in a positive way lol. If i could have my time again, i'd have stuck with both Berger/TBC and waited for the premium's prices to come down.

How the hell did he score 29 from 17 possessions wow. I just thought he didn't touch it or was possibly injured and spent alot of time off the ground.
Was at the game and watched him for most of the second half, to be honest he looked lazy, looked like he didnt want the footy at all. Really dont want to give him another chance tbh next week. Cripps and sheed my only 200k+ rookies.... very dissapointed. Off topic I think rich will be payed more attention after tonight. Wont be shuffling my structure to bring him in. Congrats to those who have him tho.

Agree re: Rich. What was your impression of Bontempelli? Sounded like he copped the Selwood tag and still had the goods. If he backs that up I will be very tempted.

Mate after qrt time he was Pendlebury in a doggies jumper. Super clean demanded the ball, going early here but i think he'll win a brownlow or 3 if he keeps this kind of improvement going.

Depending on how Maric goes next week I could trade him to a 'premium' forward. Maybe Bont+$

1063/13.....Rocky captain. Ouch! Looks like I'm way behind par. Still got the likes of Fyfe, Jelwood, Neale, Gray, Goldy to play. Best case I could get another 1000 from the other 9 and I'd be a very happy man!

Just found out I really effed up sometime in last 24 hours and did not realize until tonight. There was a rookie Ramsey playing. I got the wrong bloody one. I had 2,200 left in cash after Ramsey of Crows was a defender rookie. Well so I thought. Turns out I catch a little bit of Lions game tonight, when I heard the name Ramsay mentioned for Collingwood I had some concerns. Yep, just checked. No Ramsey is playing for Crows and trying to change the last defender rookie spot to some other rookie playing this weekend in backline and there is none. Peeved off with myself I did not check that last spot so closely.
Got to find some way around this. No way keeping Crows one if not actually playing.

I didn't see the games, but regarding the Ruck scoring, can anyone explain this disrepancy:

Nic Nat
15 touches (14 contested), 2 tackles, 3 clearances, 4 free kicks for (0 against), 2 inside 50's, 1 goal, 38 hitouts, 92 SC (90 DT)

Leuenberger
10 touches (7 contested), 2 marks, 3 tackles, 1 free kick for (0 against), 1 inside 50, 1 goal, 25 hitouts, 96 SC (76 DT)

?????????????????????

Was Leuenberger really that much more influential on the game than Nic Nat was on his? Even so, I still can't see how these stats could only give a difference of 14 DT points.

Thoughts?

Did NN have a heap of clangers or something?

Always can be hard to explain. remember SC gives points to possession (how you get the ball) and disposal (how you give off the ball).

Nic Nat had 3 clangers vs Berger. Berg K:H rato 3:2 vs Nic Nat 1:3.

Nic Nat contested possession was high 90% (amazing) vs Berger at 70%.

May be a difference in Hit out to advantage. Expect Minson the toughest of the opposition ruck man so Nic Nat may have struggled with HO to adv. Parts of the game I saw indicated this.

Having said that, the Nic Nat one handed pick up of the ball , sold the dummy and kicked a snap goal 40m out was pretty special.

Picked TBC and on last night numbers was better value, however, prefer to watch NN play. I think NN will be a good pick this year and expect him to average 100 at least this year. NN will be used mostly in the centre due to clearance differential when he is rucking vs Lycett.

13/1260 with JPK (C)

Left to play: Newnes, Shaw, CEY, Fyfe, Selwood, Goldy, Lobbe, Gray and Clark.

Some compulsory round 1 regrets in not trusting my gut. Should have stuck with Bonts and Dahlhaus - I reckon the latter will have a great year. Had NicNat but then got cold feet but he looked in good nick last night (no pun intended!). Oh well, early days yet and I certainly won't be making any knee jerk trades.

He's going to be a star and I just hope we can keep him!

1171/13 - Fyfe, Gray, Danger, B Smith, H Shaw, Newnes, Macmillan, Clark and the Yo Man(or Anderson if he is sub) to play - Fyfe seems the make or break now - hope he can go big as captain. Hoping for 2100.

Haven't had too many disappointments other than Dusty and Cripps. Not sure on Goodes - he played ok and had a few important inside 50's in the last quarter but the players he kicked to missed set shots. If they kick them is that goal assist and his score goes up?? 68 is not great but hopefully he keeps his spot.

My main POD was Parker which looked amazing until his hit - hoping he can play next week but he is just as likely to miss. He was brilliant yesterday and I'm very happy I picked him - in for a huge year.

Very happy for Dogs and Dees fans - you guys have had a tough run for too long but there is so much to like in those young teams - particularly HULK HOGAN AND THE BONT!!!

so I have a ruck combo of Gold/nicnat with BC in the forwards.

Looking like rucks are going to drop 7.5% - 15% in scores with the new rules.

Am considering goldy to blicavs and freeing up some cash, not expecting much
from blicavs, maybe 80...
