so I have a ruck combo of Gold/nicnat with BC in the forwards.

Looking like rucks are going to drop 7.5% - 15% in scores with the new rules.

Am considering goldy to blicavs and freeing up some cash, not expecting much
from blicavs, maybe 80...

thoughts
Goldy is a little different though I reckon. Can dominate games and pushes forward to kick goals.

It's fair to say from what we've seen so far, the change in the ruck scoring has not impacted the ruckmen in a positive way lol. If i could have my time again, i'd have stuck with both Berger/TBC and waited for the premium's prices to come down.
I think the scaling of scores at important times of the game is having more impact than the changes to the ruck scoring. From memory it has gone from 4 times to 2 times. The scoring for all players looks more compressed and all of the premiums look to have suffered. Probably a good year not to have overspent on any player. JPK's 127 is looking like last years 145 compared to the other premiums score so far.

Who do you think will score more this week?

Lewis v Cats or Griffen v Saints.
Griffen. Just a hunch he will start with a big one for his new Club.

I'm currently tinkering again. Tinkering yesterday has left me with some spare cash. Trying to decide if to keep Newnes or upgrade to essentially any premium defender left.

Anyone else chose McGovern? Look at his last five games last year, all down back and averaged 100ish. Best swingman ever !!

Yep I agree. Plan is to swap Lewis for Griffen and then get Lewis back next week for Rocky, so it is essentially who will score more this week!

As for defence, of the ones that are left I like Shaw and Gibson.

Went out from 6-8pm and missed the second half of the bombers game... What on earth happened to Goddard and Hibberd, and Essendon for that matter ????

Currently have goddard sitting in my forward line, but tempted to drop wines, field yolmen, trade goddard to bartel
With poor Jaksch ,the chances may have increased for Brynes to play nextweek Pro, and of course Goddard is on the cusp... which would all be rather prophetic of you.

Ran of of petrol in the tank. It was an extremely draining game in very wet condition with a million stoppages. 13 players had no nab challenge and simply were exhausted.

Goddard also made a huge error in the backline in the last quarter whereby with plenty of time and space he handballed straight to a swans player which cost a goal at an absolutely crucial time.

martin for 534k for 51 points haha
That is his lowest score in any game in 2 years. If he was going to have a shocker I'm glad it was round 1 as the rolling price changes won't be impacted as much. I can see dusty going big this week vs the Dogs.

Help, I'm having last minute twitchy fingers. I have a 5 premo mid with Gaz, Pendles, JPK, Fyfe and Jelwood - $74K in the kitty. I know it's only the first round but my speculative picks in Lumumba, KK and Salem were disappointing to say the least.

Is it madness to even consider trading one of Fyfe or Jelwood to Griffen to free up an extra ~$100K for some correction trades in the next few weeks?
