It's early but glad I dodged the Newnes bullet.

Which similarly priced player is an obvious better pick for the season? Been a lot of round 1 def duds. McGovern and McDonald aren't going to dominate every week and suddenly be must haves.

Seems Geary could have been the better pick at a 100k cheaper, he's doubled Newnes' score so far.

I should take this to RANT but Newnes has been ballwatching all game and has given 3 STUPID free kicks away. It is a miracle he is on 35 SC at half time. If he keeps this up he is a corrective trade for me.

Nice stuff Treloar. Reckon he could be a top 8 mid this season. Perhaps should have put more thought into making him vc or c but will still be a nice pod this round if he plays a similar second half.

Hope Steven can reach the 100 mark. At least he is finding plenty of the ball.

Minor rant: Had Roberton in my draft league last season and he was awful. Suddenly he can play again. Very annoying. And Hampton scrap out a 70 please.
