Has anyone heard anything about what is wrong with Mackie, and how long he will be out? I've seen he has a quad issue, but nothing more.

I have him in my side as part of my bargain defender strategy (which isn't really working so far, but I'll stick with it!). I was tossing up between him and Enright, so my first thought was to just swap them now. But I have McIntosh on the bench with the E, so if Mackie will be back next week, I'll keep him in. The other option is Birchall if he will be back next week. In fact, this could turn out to be a lucky break.

Does anyone know if Birchall and/or Mackie will play next week?

Can you afford Hodge?
If not, I think Taylor is a solid chance of averaging 85 for the year

Thanks. Taylor is another I was thinking of, but if I can get Birchall or Mackie, I guarantee myself 120 this week. I think they'll average about 85 as well, so they are a better choice than Taylor, because they aren't playing this week. Similarly with Hodge, but I can't afford him anyway.

He is happy for Mackie to be out this week cos he will get McIntoshs 120 as emergency. but obviously Mackie needs to be only a one week injury which no one knows

Difficultish decision re Anderson/Cockatoo. If it were me i think i'd be inclined to go Cockatoo.

I'm assuming they're not on the ground for anyone making the decision. Anderson for mine, will be sub often.

Twice as long as half of it.

I'd go Lang over Cockatoo, prospectus has a good write up on him and he seems to have better js than Cockatoo and Gregson.
