Just saw this thread for the first time, I'm quite a TV series man!

Have seen all of Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, House of Cards, Dexter, Suits, Arrested Development, The Office, Elementary, Sons of Anarchy, Community, Entourage, Prison Break, American Horror Story and probably a few others I can't remember!

Currently watching Game of Thrones (non-book reader) and loving it! Makes Monday's quite a bit more tolerable with a new episode to look forward to each week.

Anyone have any recommendations of any new series' to binge through? I'm thinking True Detective might be next on the list!

True Detective was GREAT.

I just demolished the first season of "The Americans" about KGB agents buried deep in the US. They got there in the 1960s settled in and had kids. It's set in the 1980s and they're doing secret missions and ****. It's semi factual. I love spy stuff!

I got donuts at the moment. Apart from sport I'm into watching there is not much tv shows they caught my eye in recent months.
Since Fringe finished up and watched end of Dexter and The Mentalist there is nothing I been watching of any tv series.
Going to be hard to replace Fringe. I struggle to think of another tv series that really got me hook line and sinker like that one did.
100 episodes exactly when they finished up.

I haven't seen it mentioned in this thread yet but I have quite enjoyed Ray Donavon.

It focusus on Donavon the lead character who is is an LA/Hollywood 'fixer' who helps his clients major life eff up problems either by throwing around cash, faking a crime scene or by getting out the baseball bat. However the major focus of the show is a lot of his extended family issues. He has a Dad (Played by Jon Voight) who is also a scu.mbag just out of jail whom he hates to the point of setting each other up and trying to kill each other. But his Dad forms bonds with Donavons brothers, wife and two kids so it all becomes this tense mess.

The show would not be for everyone and it does have some weaknesses, but the show hooked me in.

Hi all,

Not sure if this is appropriate but a web series I co-wrote has been picked up by ABC iview and it'd be great to know what you all thought.

It's called Altruman, and is about a superhero with problems at home. You can watch all six episodes here: http://ow.ly/CjcRC

All the best,
Steve

Great stuff steve, will check it out. I have a friend who co-produced (or whatever she does) on a show on abc as well. cant remember what it's called but it is Monday so i'm sure it will come to me at some stage.

Watched the first episode of orange is the new black and so far so good, very different. Same writer as weeds i believe. Lots of prison ******* scenes thus far..lol

Finished up a show called Orange Is The New Black. Just great TV about a bisexual woman going into prison, great story line and its not just about the one person, you see back story about the inmates in there. Season 2 starts in June and if its as good as season 1 this show will be shooting right up my all time favorite show list into the top 5.
Yep it's a great show. Seen series 1&2, looking forward to the 3rd.

Wentworth which is loosely based off Prisoner i think was not bad either.

Just went over and bought season 1 of Suits from jb which is about 2 mins walk from my work.

Was very tempted to buy House of Cards as well. The hefty pricetag turned me off so will watch watch season 1 of suits and see where to from there.

Not up with Suits yet but House of Cards is brilliant. Spacey is particularly good in it.

Have just been watching The Americans - highly recommend. Starts out with some pretty dodgy scenes amongst the good stuff but by season 3 it's fantastic.

I got nothing at the moment. After the cricket and now footy there is not much room for tv series. It was good whilst I could download and watch episodes of Dexter or Fringe but now they are over nothing really is standing out to me as compulsive viewing. Catch a bit of Person of Interest when I can but still not as good as those other two. The Mentalist is over too. Something will come along in next few years to fill the void but sense nothing right now on offer I heard about really can keep my attention. I will watch a bit of Big Bang or Revenge for a laugh but not fussed if I miss it too.

Change of plans. I went and returned Suits and bought House of Cards instead (@ $40!!). I've managed to get seasons 1-5 of Suits from someone at work so worked out well
