Awkward moment when Jay is going through his vice captain options and throws Pendles name out there to which I say 'don't you have Goldy? You gotta go him, he's by far the best option' and he does.

Erm

Good advice given Pendlebury's ankle concern, after playing a round, and Goldstein playing GWS's Lobb, after a bye.

But to make you feel guilty.....170+ VC in a bye round (18 players) could be crucial. ;)

Gibson you flying potato once again Robbed. Goes at 90% each week but still gets a lower SC than DT. Does not miss targets. Oh well I needed him for the bye so you can't have everything, will hopefully slot in nicely as my 22nd best score.

Pendles was unbelievable. Definite 3 votes for mine. What more could he do than have 37 disposals, 20 contested possessions and 10 tackles?

3 Pendlebury
2 Rioli
1 Crisp

I'd only have Lewis as 4th best. Good but not overly damaging.

White will always miss when it matters.

4/6 119+. Going to be some normal round scores despite only being best 18 I reckon.

Much happier with Hodge this week after trading him in last week. Went Sloane > JPK last night, which was nice.

Best of all I say goodbye to Tarrant tomorrow.

Hey Grant, I think i read earlier in the week that you were going to trade in McKernan. Is this still the case?
I see you already have Gawn.
I'm faced with a choice between the two and am leaning towards Gawn.
If you didn't have Gawn already, would you go for McKernan instead? (thinking you'll say ..No, I'd go for Gawn)

5 for 590. Hoping Oxley and maybe Swan's score drop out. Almost feel I may trade if I get a couple of shockers in the next couple of games, sounds like there will be some massive scores.

Hey Philzsay,
I see you already have McKernan.

If you didn't have McKernan already, would you still go for McKernan, or pay the extra for Gawn instead? (thinking you'll say ..No, I'd still settle for McKernan) :)

I chose McKernan on the basis of Job Security. Essentially I think injury carnage will continue throughout the year so as I run low on trades he will be my R3 backup. Plus it was either him or a donut last week. I view him as paying a bit of a premium price for some insurance.

I would only get McKernan if you are happy to have him as a R3/F7 backup, I don't think he is good enough for R2 or F6 at this point of the year.

Gawn for me is a different kettle of fish. At his price I reckon he needs to be a R2 or F6. I have others I prefer for that role, so I haven't done a lot of research on Gawn, so others on here are probably a better judge of his likely scores to come.

Thanks for your reply Phil, because of the situation I'm in with too few trades my ruck cover is actually going to have to play at D6, until needed. So not good for me but out of the two I'm going Gawn for that reason. Hope he can keep it up! or I may as well have gone McKernan, but looking at Gawn's games and VFL record recently I'm going to back him in.
